It is also famous for something else too. Rather, it is infamous. In terms of violent crime and taking either other’s lives, Chicago ranks top 20 in the most dangerous cities, beating out NYC and Los Angeles.
This is the per capita statistic.

When you factor in the total crime, it has the highest absolute number of incidents in the entire country.

You can conclude that the lower income areas are full of degenerates.

Even the normal areas are affected simply because these individuals live in somewhat close proximity.

Individual reports of incidents are now rarely reported because it happens very often.

I'm one of those who like to listen to 'stuff' to fall asleep.  One thing I've enjoyed has been listening to the live Chicago PD online feed (I also enjoy the Las Vegas feed but wasn't listening on 'that day' recently... ).

The fact that they openly discuss names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. was initially quite startling.  But beyond that, within days I was AMAZED at how often (and how casually) phrases like, "shots fired" "threatened with a gun" "AK47 type weapons" "another overdose" "been deceased for X time" are thrown about....

At this point, most of the ethnic whites have moved out to the suburbs. What you have now is a lot of transplant middle class whites from around the country and a permanent underclass of blacks and Hispanics.
