All you achieved was a self-owning of head-shaking proportions!

You can probably do a few proper reps with 1 plate a side. The rollers should be against your body not just your knees under them.

Their nineties line is great with a few exceptions like their chest-press, but their plate loaded line has poor design. For example, when you use their row machine, your balls get almost crushed against the frame (or is this 'hard-core'?). I also got zero pump when I tried their plate chest-press. The Hammer line in my current gym is so much better than this overprices Italian crap.

First hard core gym I belonged to was owned by a powerlifter and all the equipment sans dumbbells were made for the the gym by a steelworker/fabricator who was also a powerlifter. Hammer still seems to make good equipment but the old stuff works just fine.
