Craig Titus' Chest.

Chest was probably Craig's weakest point, although it was good at times.  Here is a still from the pump room backstage during the 2001 Ironman Pro show:

His weakest point is gut, obviously. Give him Zane's waist and this chest will look tremendous.

Very true.  From 2001 to 2002, Craig moved up in weight from 235 to 247.  But he had no need to go up in weight like that.  He had a naturally good structure, and should have just relied on it, came into contests in condition, and let the chips fall where they may - and I am pretty certain he would have done very well with that strategy.  Craig did not need to chase size the way that some pros with a less proportional structure would have to.  He should have done what Shawn Ray did - and just opted to maximize his proportions, rather than maximize size.  Shawn could have competed 20-lb heavier than he did [low to mid 230s, up from low to mid 210s where he actually competed] and I'm sure he would have done well doing so - but would he have looked better, or just bigger?

Craig may have an underrated natural structure which some may not speak about because he spent so much of his career chasing size and leaving that physique to the wayside.

Well - not deeply insult Ron or anything.  So Ron likes the bodybuilding scene, and perhaps its stars too [although as I understand it, Ron is married with children].  So yes, I wanted someone to take a minor shot at Ron's penchant for bodybuilding, but nothing despicable or anything.  :D  Ultimately, is the post by muscleman-2017 really all that bad?  I wouldn't say so.

It's not spinelessness - have you considered that I'm just not that funny?  :D

Also, does Ron take deep offense to the schmoe comments?  ???  I figured some things come with the territory.  Humour I would take issue with would be cracks about Ron's family - stuff like that.  To simply suggest that Ron has a man-crush on Craig based on a funny angle in a picture is ok, I think.  In that, I don't think anyone would really take it seriously - one of the aspects of parody is whether or not it is taken seriously.  It's not like anyone on here seriously believes that Ron had a thing for Craig or anything like that.

As I said, I'm not that funny.  This is the funniest post I make on Getbig:

 :-X

That emoticon gets me every time.  ;D  But seriously - I am not that funny, and Getbig is, frankly, hilarious at times.  Sometimes you sort of know how Getbig will react on something.  McFarland has an absolutely brilliant post about that.  Haha, damn this post is good:

OK, here's what I love about threads like this.  of all, Musclecenter's trying to be decent in his presentation...  "Mr. & Mrs. Cutler in Thanksgiving Day."  Ah...how sweet.  Oh look, there's Jay, there's Kerry, Jay looks happy, Kerry looks great, sweet girl, standing by her man, aw, they're dancing...ah,  yeah, the whole gang's there at Dave's store.  Day after Thanksgiving, everyone's clowning around, wow, bodybuilding really is getting back some of it's comraderie, yeah, cool...continue to scroll down....

WHOA!  WTF!  LOOK AT TOM!!!!!!!!!!!!  OMG!  ajhdgf;askdhg;asjdgh;asjfdgh;asljfgh;agh;aslfjgha;sljghasfljgkhas;fljgha;lfdjghas;dljghas;fdljghas;kfdljghas;lfdjghasfljghas;fdgjhas;lfgjhas;lgjhas;ljghas;fljhas;fdljhasfd;gljhas;fgljhasfd;gjhasf;gjhasf;gjahfdg;gh;

Oh so HERE'S the point of the thread!

Multiple pictures.  Dave even takes some pictures after he has Tom make a wardrobe change, just to make sure we know how bad this is, just to make sure we know it wasn't the "shirt/shirts."  LOL  There's even one posted of Tom from the back/side, talking to the guys...no other relevance whatsoever, just "Tom from the side, he's haggard looking from any angle."  Then Dave's like, "ha ha you guys never fail to disappoint, me and Bob "predicted" that the peanut gallery would have their say."  ROFL  Talk about epic foresight!   ;D

But you do have to wonder why Tom would even agree to have his pics taken...yes, I'm sure he won't look at this thread.  He's beyond gone; he knows he fucked up...but note that there are subtle subconscious forces in him that need to give us what he owes us...verification that he was no better than anyone else and was WRONG in many of his arrogant assumptions, as he must now KNOW he was.

"Tom knows," guys.  Just leave it be.

Not true.  I think I have a higher IQ than most people.  Specifically, higher than 98% of all people if the clinical psychologist who has tested and retested my intelligence is correct.  I also think I'm better at math than - well, basically anyone short of people who win Fields Medals.  My track record there sort of speaks for itself.  Even then, I am not good at theoretical math.  It's computation that I am like a literal machine at - needs to be seen to be believed.

While I am fit, I know far too well that I do not have the genetics for bodybuilding - I think when you see how short my biceps are, and see the lack of muscle fiber density in my back, chest, and legs, that much is obvious.  I have better genetics for strength than muscle-building, and I am grateful that my city has a big strength scene, because bodybuilding is not my strong point.

The only bodybuilding part I have that is good at all would be my shoulders.  Perhaps calves too, but I don't train them.

I think I have a realistic self-image.  I know my strengths and weaknesses pretty well.  I don't proclaim to be better than someone else at something unless I have a darn good reason for thinking that.

Please elaborate on how you raise your height from 5.8½ to 5.11 and on another note, does anyone really consider Falcon an apocolyptic enabler or is his Getbig warrior "mistique" just raising his stock in the eyes of superior opponents and upper level management?

I'm not referring to whether you the Getbig-poster buys into it off course, it's more in terms of his opponents and by upper level management i don't refer to Ron Avidan, DroppingPlates or even any high level promoters, the sponsorships, plastic trophies and awards are what drive these contestants to sweat in those black bags they always wear in the sauna, no chance can Ron make someone do that, we as human beings are driven by the desire for wealth, social acceptance, and once we hit our mid 30s our legacy (i'm not quite sure of Goodrums age). To me personally the latter would be meaningless as i do not buy into the afterlife aspect so who cares what people think after i'm gone but someone religious like Man of Steel would for sure think otherwise which is why he trains so hard and i can't imaging anyone arguing the success of his labor, although i don't think Falcon is anywhere near in the same boat.

But lets stay on topic, what makes Falcon the threat that he is even though his skill set may be light-years behind him?

Just to give you guys a quick example of what he has accomplished via his mystique when compared to what he has done via the 6 % brand at least on the average of his occasions, makes it almost sad to see what the Hebrew-hype machine is able to do to some but not to others who are perhaps more deserving due to their determination and work ethic and most importantly SKILL SET.

Sure, I can address that somewhat.  ;D

I wake up in the morning about 5'9.3".  Within an hour, I shrink to 5'8.75", assuming I am standing up [as I have been lying down for several hours now, I am likely at my "tallest", of slightly over 5'9].  From there, it's just more time in the day combined with gravity that shrinks me to my nighttime low height of 5'8.6" - which is the height I tell people that I am so no one is disappointed.  So when people see me in real life with big hair and a chunky heel, looking 5'10, they might say "Oh - Matt is taller than I thought, based on his own description."  But as the day wears on, I shrink to the height that I use to describe myself, which is "five eight and a half".  At least using that description, I can no for sure that I am never shorter than that - at least not yet.  Of course, we all shrink with age.

I decided early on that it would be better to accept my height than tell myself I am taller than I am.  I have friends who are little over 5'5 calling themselves 5'8, or little over 5'4 calling themselves 5'7.  I can't imagine that is good for their self-esteem or morale.  Also, I found it cool that 5'8 to 5'11 is seemingly the ideal height for bodybuilding, not that bodybuilder was ever something I felt I had the genetics for or heavily pursued or anything.  Another point - this one worth acknowledging - is that average height people tend to have fewer problems with circulation and other similar issues, later in life [or at any stage of life really].  It pays to be average height, health-wise, which is why I am sort of happy to be the height I am.  Although 5'10 or 6'0 would have been better - this latter height being ideal, as far as women's opinions are concerned.

I can't answer your question about Falcon - I do think he has changed over the years, with physical changes present as well.  It's as if one day he just got tired of it all, and put the bodybuilding stuff behind him?  He seems pretty happy and adjusted, and is enjoying his grandmother's last year years - I believe she was born in 1918, and is turning 100 soon.  God bless Falcon, it looks to me like he is in a good spot.  I hope I'm not wrong about that.  I hate seeing Getbiggers who are sad with their lives.
