Yep. Most active atlantic hurricane season on record followed by possible record low temps. Nothing to see here.

Yes of course since the data has been being kept for 167 years, and the earth is what 4.5 billion years old. So .000000003% of earths weather history is concrete evidence. Looks to be about as accurate as the polls people post all the time.

This is impossible.  I've been assured that the world is about to burst into flames any minute.

Ignore the real measured temperatures and instead put your faith in the computer models.

Now lets regulate the hell out of everything and steal more of people money with taxes.

With all possible modesty, most posting here are clueless when it comes to the science of "atmospheric physics" and climatology.
I'm far from a world class expert, but at least , I have basic grounding on the science and math used.

Is Al Gore one of those, world class experts?

If you want to debate the science on this fine.
I have no desire to get in a politically charged pissing contest.

What like in the 70's science claimed we were headed for the next ice age, then it told us nope its global warming, oh wait now we will call it climate change, Now that is laughable. Lets call it climate change, since we are aware that the climate has been in a constant state of change since the planet has existed

In my OPINION the real problem is the extreme views on BOTH sides.

The environmental warriors take a preservationists aka "humans are bad " view on climate change.
The climate change deniers act like humans didn't do anything wrong.

A few, small consistently enforced changes would make a HUGE difference in climate stability.
Simply raising the mpg 15-20% would work wonders.

I don't think anyone needs to have a degree in science to discuss the issue of climate change.
All you need to do, is state what you think and LISTEN to those who have reasonable ideas.
I apologize if I came off as the "pomous academic asshole"  ;D
