Yes, you have no willpower to stop overeating, you eat clean because its hard to overeat.

He is saying that it is easier to overeat when eating things like chocolate, etc. due to calories/size of portions not that the food is magic and makes you automatically gain fat.

Yes , a calorie is a calorie , there is no difference between 1000 cal of  chicken breast and sweet potatoes,  than a 1000 cal  of chocolate and beer , I hope this helps .

There is zero difference between eating vegetables and cake! The health benefits are exactly the same!!

A calorie is just a calorie! TA APPROVED!!

Great build man.  Honestly you just fell for the same thing we all did.  I used to slam all sorts of protein foods.  Shakes, protein bars, chicken you name it.  I was always farting and bloated.  I changed my diet to mostly plant based because as I got a bit older I just felt like shit all the time.  It was the best decision I ever made.  I eat tuna and chicken witb rice now but i don't eat a lot of it.  Couple times per week.  The protein myth is exactly that.....a myth.

So true, kinda odd how so many people are consumed with consuming protein for "gains" or think they will lose 3 ounces of muscle on their arms if they skip that chicken meal. I eat fish about twice a week only becUse my wife wants it. I have been fairly vegan/vegetaarian for more than a year and I look exactly the same....if not better. Some days my diet is purely bread, water, veggies, sugar (yeah bad I know). So much cheaper, feel better, look fresher/younger/cleaner. Coaches and gurus should be ashamed for pushing the protein and meat eating agenda for "gains". Gains is from drugs and genetics.

It has been proved  by TA  many years ago and we all agree  that a calorie is a calorie, I'm not going to argue about this .

You may feel better/look the same(key point),but you wouldn't be able to put on another 15-20 lbs of lbm eating that way.

People like to forget what made them in the iron game. Overeating, progressively lifting heavier and heavier, and progressively increasing drugs overtime.

You need all 3 for consistent and great gains.

Most here went from competitive aspirations to 40+year old gym rats and come on here and say  gear/heavy lifting/overeating are stupid, and for them at their age I would agree. But it's a necessary evil to build a base to be able to half ass like they do and maintain a shadow of their former selves.

Almost one year i dont eat those meat and eggs that much. I eat 100g of chicken for all day. And im gaining.
Instead i take good amount of BCAA and Glutamine.
So what had been my effort of struggling for eating chicken breast that much since 1988? >:(

I don't get your argument. Were meat and eggs supposedly essential ?

No such thing as essential nutrients either. It's just calories.
