Really? I thought you of all people would consider that a positive, or at least work with it...

Yep after 10 yrs of marriage I don’t want to hear my wife fart. I don’t even like to share the bathroom.

I have several family members with drug problems, they get no sympathy from me either.

Someone mentioned "hopefully this will be a wakeup call for her to stay clean...".

Well, if she was using opiates before/while she was "injured", it's not likely. If she "fell out" following a heroin injection has someone had mentioned earlier as well, & was in an awkward position for an extended period, causing the compartment-syndrome, then she will probably continue using for a while after she's released.

Why? Because she just had a pretty large surgery & she is likely on pretty good doses of painkillers while in the hospital & she'll likely be on pretty big doses of painkillers after she's released.

So, she's still gonna be addicted and have to go through withdrawal & detox.

When I had my surgery, I was clean, & have been cleaning for well over a year, so despite my opiate tolerance still being incredibly High & receiving requiring the largest painkiller doses any of the pain management doctors have ever given anybody ever at that hospital or in their careers (24+mg diluadid/day + 400mg oxycodone/day), plus 3(?) Weeks of oxycodone after I was released, i didn't have to go through withdrawal when I went off.

If I was still addicted & using, I'd have some problems, & likely would've needed suboxone/subutex along with benzos & clonidine (which I take normally anyways now) to get through withdrawal.

So, if she's still using, she's likely in for a rough road over the next couple months... Plus she's in Florida, where there's a shitloads of fentanyl-laced white powder heroin, which can be a quick trip to overdose-city for even experienced users (I OD'd twice in the same day on 250mg doses of powder from NY, despite at the time i was using 6g/day of "uncut" black-tar straight from my Cartel Lieutenant buddy. Same batch of that powder killed the supplier I got it from that same day. His gf said he did a single "point"(100mg), nodded off, stopped breathing, & his heart stopped.. Despite him using for over 20yrs.).

Have you considered ceasing all drugs?

Ceasing what drugs? All I take now is 10mg baclofen, 800mg gabapentin, & .2mg clonidine with 50mg benedryl before bed.

Used to take 20mg baclofen, 800mg gaba, & .1mg clonidine 3x a day but 6wks in jail they only gave me 10mg baclofen and 300mg gabapentin 2x a day (clonidine was the same),& when I went back to my regular dosage it made me sizzy, son I cut down.

Also got a a gram each of sativa and Indica, which overused once each in the past cpl weeks.

I'm not even taking my test shots at the moment

So I dont know what drugs you expect me to "cease"

No I don't.

I know Benadryl. It's for allergic reactions and stuff.

I don't take drugs. I don't need any of it. I used to be on gear, responded well but realized I don't care about being big anymore.

Even then I was on like 300mg test a week and prohormones.

You should consider just being you for a while.

Whats the use of Baclofen and Gaba? Clonidine is a sleeping Pill? Bena is for skin allegies, right? An anti-Histamine

Baclofen and gabapentin/neurontin/lyrica address withdrawal symptoms (somehow) - they are strong sedatives and mood stabilizers. Clonodine lowers blood pressure, and high BP is a direct cause of a lot of the physical symptoms of withdrawal (hot/cold flashes, general anxiety, etc.)
