print media in general is dead. really, any non up to the second 'reporting' is dead. even the former juggernaut ESPN is dying (for more than one reason), but when you can go online and get any info you want right now why bother with newspapers, magazines, or sportscenter?

I do a lot of business consulting and I'm amazed at competitors that don't have any social media game. It's all about social media now with no sponsor money.

Love him or him or hate him he's making money and crushing Breon in this department. He's 22 and get's it.

All the clothes he wears including dress clothes are from sponsors.

Breon is a below par black on terms of personality

If Flex does not want to pay its athletes Joe Pietaro of Muscle Sport Mag may step in and offer them big money. He has a HUGE following on line and I hear his magazine's sales are booming. Another option for top athletes may be to switch to NSL where they can get big cheques and fair judging. Finally they could collab with Jason Jenova to promote his supplement line. There is plenty of opportunities in the health and fitness industry....

Excuse me, but why would ANYONE buy a supplement from Jason Genova? I am not knocking him but if you are serious please explain your thinking.

Bodybuilding survived through the magazines for decades.  The magazine's sales are dead. There also was competing federations looking for stars. Now essentially there is one major pro show and it's the only game in town. The IFBB or what ever they call it now and the magazines don't need to pay bodybuilders. The bodybuilders need them. If supplement companies stop paying bodybuilders I wonder how they will survive?

I can hear the sound of the Brink's trucks pulling up to Joe's muscle empire from my small home in Thunder Bay, Canada.

Flex was probably the worst of all the magazines they need to make a magazine you only buy once that tells you the whole truth

Yes, sir! This song brings back memories from when I was a kid and CB radios were the big thing. My dad had one and I always asked for one that I could set up in the house. No dice. And the "Keep on Truckin'" slogan all over T-shirtds and bumper stickers. Yeah, I'm an old fuck.

Trivia factoid:  The music for "Convoy" was written by a guy named Chip Davis, better known as Mannheim Steamroller.
