I get it a lot, if you know anything about the cruise industry majority of passengers are senior citizens, retirees, married couples.. but I can say that I have met and continued to be friends with passengers I've met there from all walks of life, various ages and various countries. Thats what I enjoy most about my job, meeting all these interesting people.

Care to share the ballpark range of your salary? I am a beached whale looking to go back out to sea.

Depends on your position, but you have to take into account, ship workers (any ship workers/sailor) have zero living expenses, food, room on board, everything is free, so if you are making say 60,000 a year on ship, that would probably equivalent to someone making 100,000 or more on land. A person on land making 100,000 at the end of the year how much of that is actually in his bank account after all his expenses/bills and whatnot maybe 30,000. Thats the advantage of working on a ship.

SHIZZO, Regarding shipboard salaries ... Years agI knew a couple of guys from the Philippines who worked on one of those Hawaii cruise ships as bar backs, cook's assistants, waiters, etc. and a few other decent paying shipboard jobs and they said that they could return to the Philippines after ten years of service and live the life of luxury.

And I bet that G04 knows a few employees from the Philippines who work for the lines until they retire and are hailed as conquering heros when they return to family members where they speak Tagalog.

And I've never been aboard a US Naval ship that didn't have a ship-load of sailors from the Philippines who did nothing but wait on and serve meals to to the ship's officers.

With 20 years in .... they live very well when they retire and return home.

Shipboard salaries and all those benefits make for serious income but many quit early because they miss living close to home and grow tired of  the confined shipboard lifestyle.

Hey Getbig, just stopping bye, wishing everyone Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year. Been busy at sea, still putting in work in the gym, making some decent progress, whats been going on around here? Any interesting updates? Did Groink ever get out of jail? I see Gh15 is back in action, thats great, I'm sure thats bringing some life to this place. Fill me in dudes! Update pic for old times sake ;D

That pic reminds me of Bill Hemmer, the news anchor. When he was young he was too good looking so no one took him seriously so he wore glasses even though his vision was perfectly fine. Have a good one dude!!

Yes Stunt, the cruise industry in general is made up of around 70% Filipino, I have employees that work for me that are from Philippines, South America, India, Jamaica, etc.. my last girlfriend on the ship was from Peru, and the one before her was from Chile. These people have huge homes in their countries, I never knew this until I became a manager, I started trying to hook up the international guys with some extra hours because I knew that had families back home to provide for, a lot of these guys are barbacks and waiters, as I got to know them more, they are showing me photos of there homes in their countries I couldn't believe it, huge homes, but a house in the Philippines is 30,000 just to put things in perspective.
Sidenote: Philippines are hands down absolutely machines when it comes to work, never seen anything like it, I've worked construction with Mexicans and Italians who are known for their work ethic, but Filipinos are unreal, they never get tired and they eat mountains of rice literally thousands of grams of carbs a day, just white rice, they have a universal saying "more rice, more power" ...think of Manny P boxing style, he never gassed, tons of energy and ate the exact same way tons of white rice.

Care to give us an update pic (verifiable) ?

It could land you prime real estate on the 2018 Getbig Christmas card. I hate to be skeptical, but these are the times we live in.

Well put, Cephissus. Indeed, for some, the cock does not count, but for others, it multiplies. Go4It obviously suffers from penile dyscalculia, hence his many years adrift in that vast ocean of escape and solace.

Still, Go4It's a very good guy.

If they switched to brown rice or potatoes or pasta just think how lazy they would get.

Many years ago ..... We had a large family of Filipino neighbors while we were living in Waimanalo who enjoyed fine dining on black dogs.

One day all our black puppies were missing.

End of story!

You need to sit them down (thats if they know how to sit down) and explain to them that a calorie is a calorie.

You will enrich their lives immeasurably.

Great vids (that did not disappoint!)

But could you ease up on the unnecessary commentary next time? We're here for the visual, not the lecture about anabolic or analogic windows.

I believe ES went to jail before your return, so a hair posedown will not happen, to the dismay of parshes across the board.

Haha..i agree, life is about variety,  but these people are rice fanatics,  only other thing I see them eat for carbs is noodles.

Serious commentary,  which Is why I have such a huge following on YouTube! I think we need to set up a GoFund Me account to get the bail for ES and Groink, with all the millionaires on GB we can easily achieve this monetary goal!
