Genius level IQ

I don't think an IQ of 130 can be properly qualified as a "Genius" level.  That said, Mensa requires an IQ score of 132 on the Stanford–Binet IQ test to qualify, so it ultimately depends on whether or not you think a Mensa qualifying IQ makes someone a genius.

In 2014, after coming back to university to get a 98% average, despite not having done the mathematics prerequisites needed for the courses I was taking, I contemplated qualifying for Mensa, and someone told me that the tests are invigilated locally, but graded out of town somewhere.  If I officially qualified for Mensa, there would still be people on Getbig doubting my intelligence. 

I know someone who claims an IQ of 130, meanwhile, he could do BEDMAS when a real life situation required it.  Later on, I told him that I was going to write down a few phone numbers for him with the initials of the people in question, and not the full names.  He became livid, and said he wouldn't be able to remember who the people were based on their initials, LOL!!!  Anyone with a 130 lacking so badly in TWO areas like that would need to have intelligence through the roof to bring up their IQ to 130.  In other words, he is completely full of shit to claim an IQ of 130.

As for me, my background in mathematics, and my academic history in general is all consistent with a person with an IQ of at least 120.  It's not possible to take math to the level I did without having a very high IQ, unless my intelligence in other areas is extremely low, which it is not.  It should be obvious from my spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and construction of sentences that I am strong in writing as well.

What I'm saying is that it would be no shock to me if a person with my background claimed a 130 IQ.  But to call that "Genius" level would probably be debated.  Go up one standard deviation on the IQ bell curve, to 145, and we could argue such a person is a genius.  Not so much 130 in my opinion, although that is a top 2% IQ score.

I spoke to Matt T about that.  Nice guy.  He took a lot of flak on here, but is a soft spoken, polite young man.  He would have made a good 202 pro, but with the weight increase to 212, it would have been a bit harder.  That said, if he was willing to do what it takes...he could have done it.

I don't think he would consider this disrespectful for me to share this, but Matt T essentially left Getbig due to the negativity.  I can't say I blamed him.  I sort of left for the same reason.  I don't mind insults padding and actual argument but at least have an argument!  DK II would insult me and literally say nothing interesting intelligent or constructive.  I got sick of it, and left to spend my Getbig time with my kids, who I decided would make up 100% of my social life, basically.  And I'm glad I did that - I was able to spend time with my two eldest children in the most important stage of their development.  I have a lot of beautiful memories because of that.

I think about six months after ceasing to post on Getbig, I started it again "all day and daily" [said in the voice of Lui Marco].  . It was then that I realized how much Getbig gets read by people who are sort of afraid to post on here - and believe me, people will respect you for having the balls to post here.  We ran off Jay Cutler in 2003, among other pros.  So I think those of us who can basically "take the heat" of being on Getbig do get respect.

Getbig has held a bad reputation at times for being so blunt, but let's be honest - that's life.  And if you can respectfully hold a controversial view, people will respect you for that.  It's kind of like my "racist" views - thanks to mass third world immigration into the West, the stuff I have been ranting about for over ten years now is now impossible to hide. . End result: everyone knows what I said is accurate, and you can rant about "racial equality" all you want, but here we are at the end of 2017, and ALL of the racial disparities I have talked about held true, YET AGAIN.  Despite North America being so rife with "White Privilege", Asian groups comprised the top ranks of socioeconomic status and Ivy League admissions - to the point where "diversity" standards forced the Ivy Leagues to discriminates against Asians, which they are now [I'm happy to report] SUING them for. .
