Police stop him and ask for his papers a few days after his arrival and he says he has none and is here illegaly.
Police recommend he apply for asylum. He does. Then stabs three random people on the street at 9am.

Like the liberal USA, play it down: "We have no reason to believe it is terrorism related" is what they normally say.

The first link, the at least said:

"It (terrorism) is certainly a line that we would look at. We will endeavour to establish the suspect's background, who they are and where they have come from and why are they here".
They are backing off of this initial thought already? Puzzies...

That guy who drove his car through a crowd of people in Melbourne just before Christmas was also, according to the press, a lone operator with a history of mental problems. And then you never heard about him or the incident again, except for when some poor old 81 year old died shortly afterwards.

The media is a complete and utter joke.

You forgot
You get a permit only if you are part of a non broken household.   Then they're fucked.
