All I did was post his videos, then you went on a diatribe about him competing and using fake plates, etc. Seems like you care much more than me, considering you're the one who initially called him out about not competing, not me. I simply posted a video.  ??? ??? And, I responded to your meltdown about him not competing--nothing more, nothing less. If you didn't care, you would not have initially responded the way you did.  :-\ :-\

If you didn’t care why would you post his video.

You posted it & commented on no fake plates.. ::)
It’s a forum & others are free to reply / comment
And all I did was comment

Also I didn’t call him out  ::)
Just pondering the question why wouldn’t he if he is routinely using such heavy weights
It’s not like he would have to specifically train for it just go along & lift.

You feeling ok.

Wait... I just read the 585 x10 dl thing.

585x3 was my working weight years back, as was my training partners... He's only getting 7 more??? I never considered that strong, as there's guys who got much more than me and were smaller.

The brad fellas has much bigger lifts, no???

You seem very upset that he may be using fake plates. That's all I am saying--you got very defensive in response to the video, then called him out to compete. Usually, when people are upset, they call out other people.

I may have gotten 585x2 at my best.  If Castleberry's 585x10 was done with real weights, it's pretty damn respectable.  But if he's doing a fake weight video he should have added a few more plates to make it more impressive.

Yea its impressive, but i thought he was known for stoooopid heavy stuff for high reps. 585x10 is kinda "meh" when me and training partners have gotten it for 3. Known guys who got 495 for an easy 15 lifetime naturals.. Put on another plate and I'd imagine they'd get close to 10 their 1st tries doing it

Nope - Wrong
He can use what he wants.

I call his lifts out because I don’t believe them.

Usually when making strength claims one would Legitimately Back Them Up.

You come across very Hurt & Defensive about his poundages being questioned.

You Believe Him
I Don’t
End of.

Usually the person who initially questions is the more hurt person.  ??? ???

You could have easily complimented the video and moved on. But, you were so hurt, you couldn't hold back.  :-\ :-\

Jeez you got a real soft spot for him.
Why would I compliment something I don’t find complimentary

It’s you that’s hurt
It’s you who keeps goin on about being hurt

I know let’s not question brads lifts for fear of hurting your feelings

You can reply or not
I don’t care as I’ve grown bored of brad

Please enjoy & hold in high esteem his videos & claims
Peace.

You seem hurt that he may be using fake plates. Why does it matter to you?

Whats not motivating about his video? its 585 x 10 reps. That's impressive!

Interesting coming from a diet coach/guru such as yourself.  I myself used to think he was something like a month or so away from stage conditioning.  Nice to see that I wasn't wrong about that.  ;)

Yep, one month he would look very good, two months pretty damn shredded.

It doesn't always work like that though. I've seen guys who can rep out a weight that's near to their one rep max. If they pull it up once, they can do it a few times. Some of those guys you knew who could pull 495lbs for 15 reps might struggle with 550-600lbs for a single.
OTOH, some guys like me are the opposite. I'm shit at reps but good at singles. For instance, I've deadlifted almost 630lbs as a 1RM but can only get around 12 reps with 400lbs. Anything over 300lbs starts feeling "heavy" for me yet I can still keep adding on weight. :D
It's difficult to gauge just how strong Castleberry is from the video. I'd guess he'd be in or around the 700lb range for a single.

Agreed.

All the big babies "calling him out" about his plates being fake and wanting him to compete ha lol. It's odd how someone on social media can have such an influence on others.

All of his videos are not fake. There are videos of him using dumbbells, which are obviously real. There are other videos of him using the ez-curl bar.

Some of the compound movements are questionable. But, who really cares if he is using fake plates. I don't get why so many people care. It has zero influence on their lives. People can choose to follow his instagram/twitter or not. Its pretty simple.

He has plenty of fake videos. Look into it and you'll see

Who cares?  ??? ??? It has zero influence on my life.

All these powerlifters calling him out, telling him to compete. Why? It doesn't affect their lives or bottom dollar, does it?

I do not care if he has 100 fake videos out there.

What do you think of my progress dim?

P.S. I stopped training legs 6 weeks ago and for back I only do very light pulldown

Just started hitting chest and traps hard this week

For the last 8 weeks I only trained arms hard

Was caught up by the Nubbret thread and now i will hit or pecs, traps and arms with Nubrert style Baby
