Training legs is good if you're a bodybuilder. I don't see the point in training legs beyond basic fitness, if you don't compete or don't show them off.

Ronnie Coleman trained legs because he competed. Joe Schmoe training legs with 500lbs or whatever the hell weight is 'heavy weight' and going to wear long pants all day or just show them off on the beach every once in a while. What's the point? Enjoy breaking down all your joints you "hardcore" people... lol. :)
So wrong. One of the best ways to super-charge your body. Take one hour per week and work your legs to the point of exhaustion.   Squats. I like dumbbell squats. Anything. Make sure you are in O-debt. You will hate it, but the rest of you will walk on air.
