Just a guy who works security in "south America"(Honduras most likely)... Probably just patrolling smuggling routes or airstrip, since they don't produce much. Not hard to get a job down there (at least in Mexico) but most don't last. Ppl in that biz get killed just because.
Dude probably made the tape (if legit) and gave it to somebody to hold with the pass to his YouTube to post in case they hadn't heard from him for any number of days, and he probably missed a few check-ins and they posted it.
"Political prisoner" my ass. You can be arrested "just because".. you work for the group that controls one area and another group has taken over and will replace the workers in that area with their own workers. "Arrested" by actual police, or "fake" police and either executed or held for ransom (if they believe you have resources).
Or, its just a marketing ploy to attract traffic and drive business.
Either way, if there was ever a time he would want to be detailed in what happened, now would be the time. Dudes too vague and detailed are too generalized for his shootout stories, even if he were still looking at doing time in the US.
