In this case there was enough evidence in advance to do something about it. The school knew (the district will be sued big time), the students knew and the FBI was made aware of this nut case and his social media. He couldn't carry a backpack on campus because they were worried about this.

It doesn't matter ,there are enough evidence everywhere , guns are out of control in this country , I bet you know someone that should not own a gun , and you aren't doing shit about it, I personally know at least 5 people from work , that shouldn't own a gun and if one these fuckers decide to kill bunch of people tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised

How is a 17 year old allowed to buy an AR15 legally? By law he's not old enough to buy fireworks...

But.. it does raise the question --- How can you be 19 and not be able to buy a drink, but you can buy an AR15?

How can you be 18 and be on the front lines in battle...and not be able to have a drink?! As a freshman (plebe) at West Point I was firing m-16 autos and attended airborne school at 19. My nephew fought two heavy combat tours at 18/19.

Because at the end of the day who cares? Guns are all dangerous tools when used by a madman. You can buy high capacity magazines for many regular sporting rifles as easily as you can for an AR-15. A magazine is a relatively simple thing for a factory to manufacture. If you don't think that that void wouldn't be filled by some entrepreneur if a ban were to happen, you'd be silly.

Dunno if that's enforced on base.

Every weekend my recruiter would pick me up and head down to mcrd to train and he'd be sure to point out the store on base where they sold beer and he'd mention (every fucken time) "we work hard & we play hard" and imply drinking.. Didn't seem to matter when I reminded him I was only 17(or 18? I forget)
