You know nothing about camera angles or the fact that Dillett is closer to the camera. Paul was ALWAYS listed at 6'1" throughout the 1990's. Stop adding an inch to him because YOU met him and think he's taller because YOU think YOU'RE taller than you really are. He was NEVER over 6'1" and Flex Wheeler has also been listed at 5'8" and 5'9" btw.

no I met him, you didn't, he was 6'2'' at least, don't belief what they said, they all took away an inch or two, Flex Wheeler claimed he was 5'9'' when he was about 5'11'', Haney claimed he was 5'11'' when he was 6 ' tall, Kevin Levrone claimed he was 5'9'' and years later he confessed he really is 5'10''. Flex Wheeler also confessed years later that he was really 5'10'', although in his prime Flex Wheeler was 5'11''. Dorian also lied, he claimed 5'10'' when in reality he was 5'11''

NO, they do not downgrade their own height. Enough with your bullshit. Haney was NEVER 6'0". He was 5'11" at best and Yates was 5'10". Levrone was 5'9" and Wheeler was about the same. People on steroids lose height over time because steroids tend to weaken the cartilage and bones over time and it requires disc fusions in the spinal column (neck/back), knee replacements and hip replacements as a result, which IN TURN robs these men of inches off their height.

Paul Dillet was tall compared to most bodybuilders. Closer to 6-2 than 6-1.

I am 5 9 1/2 inches tall and Paul towers over me.

Not in that pic. And Paul was really 6'3. Weider didn't want the other bodybuilders to be intimidated, so when he signed Paul, he had him billed as 6'1.

Met him 1st time in 99, 9wks out from the NOC weighing IIRC 308/305. Absolute freakiest thing I've ever seen being-wise still to this day. Ran into him in the lobby before he guest posed (didn't know he was guest posing) & he was about eye to eye with me, & back then all my h.s. physicals had me at 6'1.5" (before I lost about an inch. Degenerative disc disease in my C spine & 22+yrs of training, with a good chunk of that powerlifting).

I remember going to the MuscleMag International store in Venice in 02 when I lived in Hollywood just to find the issues that covered the 93 iron man & Arnold,& the olympia. Dunno why incident pick up more, wish I did, but would've lost'em all in 4 moves since anyway.

About Paul. In 1991 everyone in Golds Venice were amazed at Paul. Walking around the gym he was the king. Made me think about so-called bodybuilding contests and what they look for.

Paul wins just standing there. End of contest. The public would agree as they don't appreciate all that flexing.

Bring out the lineup and give Paul the trophy. Everyone else is second!
