Its sad, the hatred some have for a kid who survived a school shooting and is articulate enough to not let the event be for nothing, and advocates for sensible gun control

Its a big school. I doubt he "survived" anything, as he was probably cowering/jerking off to an issue of FLEX in a bathroom stall on the other side of campus and didn't even hear the shots.

I'll compare Hogg to Coach, myself or any number of people on this forum. Hogg states his opinion on something. He thinks he is right. The difference here is Hogg has a national stage to air his opinions on Gun control, something that whether you agree or not, probably hits home with him and his friends. I just watch a relative die a painful death from cancer and I'm ready to tell the world assisted suicide should be legal, and if I had the national spotlight I certainly would use it. What I think bugs many of the people in the country, and I would suspect mostly Republicans is that he is speaking out on stricter gun control. Not saying anything different than a lot of adults, and probably more articulate than many.

I really haven’t paid close enough attention to the kid to have my own opinion on whether he is articulate or not. But my Easter host today, a suburban woman who voted (as did I) for the Republican governor in our state, said, “boy did that kid wrap that Senator (Rubio?) around his fingers when he questioned him about NRA contributions.”  This woman probably did not have especially strong opinions on the NRA up to now, but she sure has strong opinions now. I’m guessing the meltdowns here have to do with how persuasive his arguments have been with a lot of people.

I don't mean the repetitive rhetoric about the NRA having blood on their hands of dead children, I mean on a personal level? Has he ever once shed a tear? Seriously? 30 minutes after the shootings began he was conducting interviews with fellow students about gun control. IF this was me I would have been praying for my ass. If this fucktard was doing anything other than keeping his mouth shut while I was trying to hide and be quite I would have given him the option to STFU or have your neck snapped.
