Found dead in his hotel room at 61 years of age. I knew he had past drug issues, I wonder if it was that? Usually it seems death in a hotel is either drugs or suicide. I enjoyed his food shows.

wow couldn't find a easier way to go out..mental health sucks guys got money can go anywhere do anything and this is his choice.

Anthony Bourdain was a cool dude.... Guy knew how to have fun and party. I would have had a great time hanging with him. A life well lived, cut too short

I loved the guy and his shows for years. He knew how to have fun and party but I knew he was living on borrowed time. I think he just decided to call it a day although very odd that he would do it while filming. There's more to it but I'm going to miss him

He was a really good food/travel guide..he would always want the "real" experience and it often involved drinking rituals..guy would get hammered if thats what the host did..he never got Weirded out..ate Bugs..parts of animals not often used in Western dishes..animals and vegetables foreign to Us....

You felt like you were on the vacation because hed do real, fun stuff and go for it

Bourdain was a guys guy...went to cool places off the norm

Probably had some "me too" lawyers coming after him. If Mario Batali can be taken down then this guy probably had a pretty good exposure to that risk as well.

I guarantee social media has a lot to with the increase of suicides, it be tough to be a kid these days.
