So when "White people" like Tim Wise [who is Jewish] go around the country ranting to young White people about how horrible White people are, understand that someone of one race is ranting about how horrible another race is.

In fact, one can argue that posts like mine and yours are examples of the same thing, even though we are just objectively describing reality.

That Whites would be horrified when they hear Jewish people being criticized doesn't bother me.  What bothers me is that they don't focus this same empathy on themselves.  Although that is only the function of having the awareness that they have disproportionate global power.

As this environmental characteristic changes, so too will the psychology of Caucasians.

Although that said, I think Caucasians are just ripe for the picking when it comes to this stuff.

You know how they say that Native Americans got displaced by Europeans/Caucasians because they were "too nice", and we exploited them?  That may be in part true [although definitely not the only component of Native American displacement], but it is very much true of White people as well.

Its not sad, its just stupid and for weak people.  He could have at least chose a more creative method.  Perhaps prepared himself a poisonous dinner with some mushrooms and shallots as an appetizer.  Perhaps he could have rolled around in some flour and deep fried himself on camera.

I am not impressed.  He was a walking gimmick anyways.

I don't much care for Van Gogh either.  Picasso's history?  So now you decide to go the route used by those in the mental health industry to get a murderer off the hook, e.g., say their patient's history was riddled with abuse of the mental, physical and drug (self) induced kind, ergo their patient is not guilty of whatever crime(s) they committed but rather society is?  

At the least Picasso's crimes were against art.  Same with Van Gogh.   I have no problem with you feeeeeeeling otherwise but neither do I have to agree with you.

I have no problem with you not liking Picasso.. there is a difference in not caring for someones work, and refusing to acknowledge their talent. I didn't care for Prince.
