He gave away the red one and kept the purple one.

During the Body for Life  thing, he changes the rules, and gives all 10 finalists Corvettes and $50,000 spokesman contracts. A couple of years ago they were going to run it again, but I don't know what happened with that -

I'm not sure if it was ever mentioned but this guy -

.

has AIDS, and that threw a monkey wrench in the whole thing when it was reveled. The contest got sidetrack with contestants just wanting to give him the car as a goodwill touchy feely gesture, so they decided to do the Corvette thing instead just to be fair. He later wrote a book that talked a bit about the whole contest - http://books.google.com/books?id=OafHjavjmSQC&pg=PA159&lpg=PA159&dq=bill+phillips+lamborghini&source=bl&ots=WTgp-wTk5_&sig=UeriEJuM4B7c2eoibYxKoAWkXb4&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwix9r-I9fzbAhUutlkKHTa1BlMQ6AEIVjAJ#v=onepage&q=bill%20phillips%20lamborghini&f=false .

Before that most likely, it was probably going to be this guy (Jeff Seidman) -

Yeah. Body for Life I remember watching that with Phillips contest. Good times for bodybuilding back then you had Duchaine, legit steroids, ultimate orange, and none of this stupid ass Instagram model shit.

Update- They were actually given used Corvettes according to Anthony Ellis, who's website claims he gained #300 pounds of Muscle in 3 months - http://www.fastmusclegain.com/  :).

T-Mag wrote a "where are they now?" years ago, transcribed here - http://www.bodyforlife-tracker.com/weightloss-topic/59247/page3 .

Yes. A friend from the gym "Brad" was one of the winners. Had to sell the Corvette just to pay the taxes on his winning prize.

The guy Seidman used them in the past, and that caused an argument whether they should grade it on a handicap because of his muscle memory.

This guy, Anthony Ellis was also accused of using them, and had trouble with a polygraph test when asked about them, but he claimed EAS added that in there for more drama -

I lived in New Zealand back then, was a student and their supps were expensive beyond my means.
Id just placed 2nd at the NABBA nationals, in the U21's class, and sent Bill a VHS of my comp seeking sponsorship.
This was just before the Body for Life thing, and move away from bodybuilding.
A few weeks later i received a Fed Box stacked with supps, well over 500USD retail worth...or about 1200 locally. And a bright purple Team EAS jacket.
The letter said they were looking at building a small team and would keep in touch.
The team never eventuated but every cpl of months for about six months I got care packages, mainly myoplex deluxe, which was delicious, lotsa phospagems (little creatine gummies), and a few boxes of bars etc.
I felt like a millionaire for that short period of time

Why pitty?
How did he caught the AIDS? Going raw with homos and crack whores? Or shooting medicinal heroin with friends?

Blood transfusion. Looked him up a second ago, still alive and fit, been sick for some crazy number of years like 35.

This. Some of these guys were obviously juicing.

By the way, does anyone have proof that they're closing their doors? I can't find anything about it on Google.

I can't find anything either, but I'm not doubting yet. Some of EAS's Twitters is gone, their Instagram hasn't been updated in a week and half ( www.instagram.com/easmyoplex/ ) , and while they are still answering questions here and there on Facebook in the last few weeks, people are saying they aren't restocking it at dealers.

I wonder if it might be a big rebranding, they signed a big deal with these guys just a bit ago -

Anthony Ellis is a scumbag but my thing is this....EAS at the time when they were running that contest was advertised in "Muscle Media 2000".   Obviously, most people who read MM2k used steroids.
