How expensive is Iceland?

Some relatives of mine are going there soon.
My wife and I are looking to go there for next vacation. Flights were $250ish round trip so that is a major plus.

Every hotel you go to just about anywhere has those resort fees.

PRIME, I've heard a lot abut the SEA DOME.

It was in THE DUNES and had a round 'stage' in the center on which a "Mermaid" played a "   ?   " according to familty members and it was supposedly the best restaurant in town in addition to the GOLDEN STEER. (And PAMPLEMOUSE????)

Do you recall if there was some lighting effect in The Dome which made it appear that you were under water?

Here's a quiz question for ya ... What now is located in the exact spot where the SEA DOME used to be and what instrument did that Mermaid play?

ZERO, I can;t help you regarding the drug scene here in VEGAS, but I gotta assume that you realize that you can now go into any of many MJ dispensaries here in VEGAS and purchase whatever you need to get high and happy and sometimes confused.

I just visited such a facility and discovered that Maui Wowie sells for $365 an ounce!

And we used to pay less than a dollar for a Maui Wowie joint and thought that we were being taken!

Of course we were on Maui at that time when most Kamaina knuckle-heads preferred the Magic Mushrooms once the cow shit was cleaned off. But those who were in a hurry or were being pursued by the authorities or by the guy who owned that pasture ..... seldom bothered!

Liberals on twitter block people who don’t support their agenda or ask them awkward questions, too.

No doubt you'll find someone new to harass.

AKA you got exposed for the baby dick-licking nutjob you are. Illuminati proved to the entire board that you're a sick fiddler of innocent children. You admitted it with your own words. Beg the mods to save you before the police see this thread.

Well, let's review.

You're broke.
You're unemployed.
You fantasize about naked children.
You post all day on a bodybuilding forum across 30 something profiles.
You're a liberal democrat.

Is there anything more insulting than those things?

DIABLO...."Sunday they all leave and all of the fat ugly cheap fucks come in for the free and cheap weekday rates and it's just all fat midwesterners everywhere.  It is so depressing."

I resent and resemble that!

It just goes to prove that Las Vegas was built for everyone  ... Young and old, cheap or not , etc., etc.

If one lives here ...... you have to know how to take advantage of the casinos and all that the casinos have to offer.

Friends say that I'm an expert at doing that, but I merely think of myself as an expert, cheap assed gambler looking for ways o beat the casinos at their own game.

But seldom on weekends.

On weekends and holidays and whenever a major conventions come to to town the casinos realize that the so-called suckers are more than willing to get fleeced ... so prices for everything get raised accordingly.

But ... I, as a local mid-week cheap assed warrior, get three to four comp't meals each week, but never on a weekend.

I also get free or heavily discounted room rates ... but never on a weekend.

And a decent amount of 'free play' (but not on weekends) that  can usually turn into $100 to $300 each and every month.

Plus I don't ever recall buying a drink except the time when I tipped the cocktail waitress $1 for a 6 ounce plastic cup of Bud-Light.

But that was on a weekend.

Plus I get more T-shirts, hats, kitchen-ware, gas cards, etc..... ost of which I give away as extra Christmas presents.

But the casinos never give this shit away on weekends.

So being a cheap bastard in Vegas, such as myself, is a very good thing to be. Otherwise these damn casinos  could end up taking  everything you ever owned including your wife and kids which I should have thought about years ago.

So weekends may be one hell of a lot of fun, but the casinos look upon these weekend warriors as first class suckers waiting to be fleeced.

But most of us cheap ass locals are a bit smarter than that ... And they know it.

So they offer bigger and better enticementswhich makes the "game" even "funner" to play.

The mermaid played the harp. The Bellagio stands where the Dunes used to be. My best guess is that Le Cirque is the main high-end restaurant inside the Bellagio Hotel. This photo of The Dome of the Sea is the best example of how I remember it. My wife had Lobster Newberg and I had Lobster Thermidor. I don't remember what we ordered for desert.

This is a funny story my wife enjoyed telling our friends about our stay at The Dunes. Shortly after getting married by the Justice of the Peace, my wife went up to our room to dress for dinner while I stayed at the bar. When she returned, I was talking to a very elderly lady dripping diamonds and wearing glasses with butterfly style frames. This senior cougar had just propositioned me for paid sex. When I told Margie what had just happened, she jokingly said I should have taken her up on the proposition. My wife and I had a big laugh about it.

Great memories I will never forget.

The last couple of times my wife and I were in Vegas, we found a casino a few blocks off the strip filled with old folks like us eating brunch at the buffet, which was pretty cheap. -Not exactly glamorous, but fun people watching never-the-less. We still went all out for dinner on the strip, spending like we were rich suckers.

PRIME, Thanks for that story.

I actually had forgotten what that stringed instrument was called.

To be exact and to the best of my excellent Vegas knowledhe, the Dome of the Sea was exactly position where the Belligip lake is present today.

As you are standing on the Strip looking at the Belligio, thr Dome was physically located at the right side of the lake and boardered the  present Belligio/Strip sidewalk.

This is important stuff among LV historians ... most of whom have passed away.

Can't go into details here but I was Best Man in a 'heavy hitter's"  wedding and consider myself to be pretty much of an old time LV expert.

But I still have no idea of precisely where the bodies were laid beneath this LV desert.

PRIME, That place off the STRIP sounds like Ellis Island (but Ellis does not have a buffet just yet) or it could have been the TUSCANY, but definitely not Silver 7's.

If 'none of the above" .... you got me stumped!

How'd you figure? Exposing child molesters is doing the public a service. I'd expect a civic medal for my work in this thread. Stan ran away as soon as he got shown for the sick and perverted things he posted on his pellius account. Go look at all the quotes about him I posted.

Going for a fun trip to Las Vegas is like paying homage to American prostitutes and scammers. Hmmm, I'll think twice...

Much better to spend your money on prostitutes than on gambling......way more fun   :)

Don't remember the name, probably because there is no reason to. Guess that leaves us both stumped. Can't remember if we walked there or not. Seems like it wasn't more than a block off the strip and it was not on the first floor.

YEP! ("Buffet on the 2nd floor") That sounds like  the Silver Sevens Casino which you may recall as an earlier name ....

1   Continental (1981-99)
2   Terrible's (2000-12)
3   Silver Sevens (2013-present)

SKYLGE ... Prostitution is not legal in LV, so you must have been Pahrump.

Unless youmet a friendly lady and made a 'negotiation".

Most of the 'negotiated ladies' come to Vegas on Thursday nites and return home (mainly LA) on Sundays.

And did anyone ever 'negotiate' with a lady that was similar to the ladyshown in the illegal  ads?

Wasn't this several years ago? As I remember it had something to do with a co-worker getting it on with a wanton 13 year-old girl. It also seems to me that Pellius' posts with regards to this were misconstrued, (even by me) and the whole thing got completely out of hand with a lot of us piling on.

Federal law sets 12 as the minimum age of consent...with restrictions. This is unthinkable even though both parties must be under 18.

If you suspect someone of child abuse, you should report it to the appropriate authorities. People working in some professions are required by law to report it, for example:

- Social workers
- Teachers, principals, and other school personnel
- Physicians, nurses, and other health-care workers
- Counselors, therapists, and other mental health professionals
- Child care providers
- Medical examiners or coroners
- Law enforcement officers

However, randomly and thoughtlessly calling people pedophiles, as you often do, is seriously wrong and it is considered defamation through slander against the character of a person. When someone does this by writing it down in some manner (posting in a forum), it becomes liable.

Oh my god, you're defending him? Go read the entire exchange in Narcissistic Deity's thread: He justified it by historical precedent, because it's acceptable in other countries or periods of time in history. It has NOTHING to do with what you said.

Yeah, but those posts weren't referring to sex between teenagers. It was between adult men and teenagers.

There's nothing random about it, you moron. It's all written down in screenshots and quotes. Go read his replies in ND's thread, which you've posted in several times. Unless you have a hidden agenda about protecting people who clearly admit to things that are dead wrong morally and legally.

Once again; in my opinion, pedophila and child molestation are among the most heinous acts anyone can commit. They are indefensible.

Falsely accusing anyone of acts and/or crimes they did not commit is a defamation of their character. What seems clear is that you have no problem with this.  You have no proof that anyone currently posting on Getbig is guilty of either. You have an opinion and that's all you have.
