Fine gentleman who’s presence sometimes induces a mild guilt when posting derogatory comments towards other black chaps who lack the finer qualities of parker

He defends Black people from unwarranted attacks occasionally but mostly avoids those topics. And the ones where Blacks are obviously being whiny or destructive POSes, he doesn't disagree one bit. Same way as Whites here ridiculed those two rednecks who shot up that retard in the alley. We call out the slime on each others' side all the time. Just so happens there's more Black stories to share, but they don't have a lock on stupidity. After all, most of America's liberals are White, and we tear them a new asshole every day on here.

Because some men see themselves as men, while other see themselves as their skin color before anything else.  For example, and this is well known, Wiggs sees only the color of his skin because he feeeeeeeeels it makes  him somehow superior.  He also steals another groups history in  a vainglorious effort to make it his story.  FTN.

It was once said that a leopard can't change it's spots.  An animal is not human.  Regardless of whether it walks on four legs or two legs.    As for Doggity's statement about the opening post?  Not a single one of us speaks for all.   But he knew this before typing that because he isn't stupid but rather trying to make a point.

If you’re a fat illiterate Mexican that might be your perception of it, sure. Everyone else gets it, though.

I'll say it again:

Parker is one of the coolest guys on this board: intelligent, witty, and composed.
His posts are measured and thoughtful, and he doesn't overreach with his opinions
by trying to portray himself as some sort of authority or visionary.

He's a Getbig Mandarin.

Cheers!

Well, for one, the person who is quoted saying that. It's just a few posts above yours. Even a fat, illiterate mexican couldn't miss it.

Hmmmm, is right. G_Thang/secrawler, Wiggs, Big Dub, Drkaje, Option D, and others (maybe you?), already know how I think about things, and the path that I take. I respect their views on things, even if we may not agree. And G_Thang is right to a degree, Getbig will turn on a person, like say Groink, but Groink had it coming.

If we are talking about black folk, I believe that one should define oneself, and not others who define you, the latter is path that black folk have taken since the Civil Rights era, and it is a path of the weak. And we are seeing the results of that now. Looking for acceptance and love from non-blacks, and when we don’t get it, we meltdown. Because there is this belief ever since slavery, that if we are of some usefulness to the whites, the establishment, then that defines us. And that is not the way to go. Malcolm X was on to something, but hey, whose a President to back, a former criminal and  Muslim or Southern Christian preaching love and acceptance (from whites) through non-violence?

Conker is a half Caribbean from the UK who just doesn’t get the US, and grew up where the government takes care of people, plus may have the resentment built up through his experiences in the UK and being part Caribbean.
So, I can see where he is coming from.

Dude, can you just go troll another thread? There's like 30 others to pick from. I realize you think everything's about you but this is a tribute to one poster. At least have the decency to be annoying somewhere else.  ::)

Yeah I wouldn't accept liberal/democrat/feminist whites supporting me if I was black, because those people inherently feel it's their job to fix black folks' mistakes and somehow make amends for a past they themselves at nothing to do with. It comes off as condescending and just plain weak. If you want to contribute to black causes, or black movements, I'm all for it. But don't act like you have to coddle them because they're too incompetent to do it themselves. Blacks are fine without us.

White paternalism. Treating black people (in this context, black men) as children. Basically silently saying, that they can’t fix their own problems. And this makes these people feel better about themselves. It’s about their feelings and egos. This also conditions black folk to believe it is white people who can and are solely responsible for fixing the problems within their communities. Therefore, giving more power away, while crying about “white supremacy”, when in fact, this helps white supremacy, because it makes the white folk who are doing the “fixing”, again, feel “superior” (parental figure).

Yep. Doesn't help when still-respectable 'leaders' like Al Sharpton parrot whatever their White producers tell them to like good cooperate black folks should on MSNBC or Van Jones on CNN spewing everything anything anti-Trump and anti-conservative under the sun because he needs to pay his bills. I realize guys like Larry Elder are deeply unpopular among most African Americans but the fact that they're only welcome on Fox News is pretty disgraceful. Why are all the replies to his tweets unfavorable when it's leftist whites or legit blacks replying and only MAGA people agree with him that black unemployment and food-stamp dependency was at its lowest when gov't programs to promote job growth and trades in poor inner cities vs. big government, "great" society-style initiatives failed miserably and made them poorer and more miserable economically speaking? That shit should be gospel. Now with Bill Cosby going down, they've lost one of their best stars and a guy who spoke real talk to them. People mock him now and act like a predator is going away. Yeah...that's not all that's going away. A hero to millions of black children just got torn to shreds because White women (mostly) conspired to destroy him. It's disgusting man. Every black hero or leader either got shot, locked up or had their reputations vaporized in politically motivated hit jobs.
