Vox seems to be very smug, lacks charisma, and somewhat jealous. He is intelligent, but he doesn’t know how to translate that into likeability.

I think Jordan Peterson got too big for his britches.

I didn't mind at all when he came out about Canada's law limiting free speech. It made sense. We shouldn't limit speech, even speech that we do not agree with. I think this is obvious.

However, as he became more and more famous, he started to talk about topics that were BEYOND his scope of expertise, even to the extent talking about nutrition, etc. It just seemed off. One day he is a clinical psychologist, a few weeks later, he becomes famous and is now a nutrition expert (sort of hyperbolic). I guess that is what happens when you have to create a lot of material and keep your fans paying.

Anyway, Sam Harris destroyed Peterson when they debated.

I concur. I believe his diet is part of the problem. Maybe he needs to lay off the hemi iron, and consult The High Falcon on the dangers of eating meat.

I was disappointed when I heard this but not shook.  I'm a fan of his but I've been saying that Peterson is a classic liberal for a while.  He's gonna say some stupid shit every once in a while.

He only looks like a conservative right now because the liberals have taken such a turn to the hard left.

The Most High Falcon is dealing with more serious matters.

He’s cooking grass clippings seasoned with sea salt.

I think it's an inevitable result of becoming a popular intellectual. People will start wanting to hear your opinions on a variety of subjects and it then becomes a way to increase listeners and profit. Sam Harris does the same. His knowledge of history for instance isn't particularly great yet he regularly discusses historic events.

Mr Metokur does an amusing take on Peterson -

I only know Jordan Peterson's comments on one topic which is MGTOW. He said all MGTOW are pathetic weasels and are mostly older men butthurt from women who try and get younger men to avoid women.

He copped a lot of backlash.

Then to try and recuse himself he said he shouldn't have said it, and more importantly said he had one client who went through family court and divorce and despite the client following all the instructions he had told him still got majorly fucked over by the family court.

So what he's saying is even he, the smartest man in the world, can't win a family court battle with all his fantastic advice because it's so one sided towards women but men who avoid this situation entirely because of their experience in seeing this are the problem.

He's one person with one life experience. The sheep who don't think for themselves can love him.
