Saw its first showing, 12:15 PM, on Friday, so as to avoid the hooting and hollering darkies and annoying young people.

I’m a fanboy. Give this one a 7/10.

The scene with the psych doc putting on Mike’s mask is dumb. Pointless. And as another mentions, the kid chocolate face being babysat is typical Dindu horseshit. Yammering about pot (nice f-bombs from the whore babysitter, by the way) and then spouting an obligatory “Oh, shit!” It was gonna be that or another chestnut like “Daaaamn”.

Michael should have lynched the little smudge from a tree in the front yard.

Laurie has essentially turned herself into Sarah Connor from T2.

The gas station washroom scene is clearly a reference to the one in Zombie’s film. And the trick-or-treater kids in one shot were wearing masks from Halloween III.

(Speaking of Rob Zombie, I prefer his two flicks to this one.)

Mike’s murder of the random broad in her living room is awesome.

Overall, a good addition to the Halloween legacy.

P.S. The ‘bigger who mentions the instalment with Busta Rhymes ... Yes, horrible. Pure nonsense.

It's "ok". A lot of "ok" movies are breaking records lately. Says what the state of writing is when everything is a remake.

The idea that the Attorney General of the State gave the original mask to foreign bloggers to taunt this guy out in the prison yard is REALLY stretching it. I know that's part of the genre but that is deep BS.

It’s absolute goofiness, no question.

and how did that pair get hold of the original mask and get permission to enter the psycho jail and wave it at Michael  ???  They deserved what they got for goading him.
Dude said he got it from the DA? Or something.
Anyway it is just a William shatner mask painted white. I sure they could have found one.

i always liked halloween and the sequels are underrated, but this one looks silly to me

i don't like how they are pretending the sequels never happened and this being like the 3rd reboot in this series alone that does that, so i'll just watch the bootleg i downloaded

you want to watch a good horror movie, watch "creep" on netflix i was on the edge of my seat the whole time

No, no. Busta’s nowhere to be seen in this one. Guess Mikey took all he can handle in that crappy sequel from decades ago.

original is one of if not the  best horror movie ever period, the mask in the original and sequel is what made the movie, what made the original so good was when he follows the girls in the station wagon they taunt him he slams brakes then dissapears then the music during the scenes was pefect  .the closing scene when loomis unloads his gun in him and he falls to the ground andloomis rushes to the window an he is gone , then the theme music comes on is awesome.halloween 2 was good ,he killed more and the ending at that time
appeared to finish him.

I actually liked the two Halloween-movies that Rob Zombie did as well.
