Correct, most Jews is the US are Democrats. Quite a few are independents, and about 24% of them are Republicans.  1 out of 4 are Republicans.

Many Jews in the US like to help others, by charity, by teaching, by being a doctor, etc.  That is my opinion, as I am not an expert on that.  Most want to help others, in terms of social work, in terms of helping, in terms of seeing someone better off. The Democrats appeal to that more than the hard liner Republicans.   Most Jewish families and cultures work hard for their kids to make something of themselves, to go to college.  That wasnt a question - it was how to get to college.  Other cultures just don't do that.  And it isn't whether you make money or not.  It is working and learning hard to get somewhere.

The issue is free speech vs. hatred and incite to violence speech.  Does a mod, impose his beliefs, and limit someones free speech? That is the question for all.

So how do I try to handle it.   Being a Jew, more conservative than others, and Republicans, I am in the minority of many.  But I also know that debating, discussing and talking about issues, you will always have heated discussions.  Free speech is one thing, but speech to incite violence needs to go.  If you debate in a reasonable thought process, that is fine, hence free speech, but if you decide to put up a pictures of someone trying to kill someone else (whatever race or religion), or saying 'All Jews or Muslims or Christians Must Die', that is blatant violence speech, and not tolerated.

Resorting to violence, and killing innocents people is just crap.   You are a fucking big hero because you shot and killed people who are there just because they are of a race, a gender, a color.  Pathetic.  You may not like migrants, or illegal immigrants or Jews or Muslims or whatever, but inciting to violence is screwed up, and no, we do not tolerate that.

Yes, I allow debates of all form, that is the true nature of a Democratic site, but I always find it sad that some people think that 'All Jews' or 'All Muslims' or 'All Anything' are the root of their miserable misery. There are several of us who address things when they are brought to our attention.  Speaking only for myself, I do not read every post on the board, nor do I follow posters.  Time does not allow for it.   If there is an issue, PM me or another mod.  We are in communication with eachother via various methods which sometimes helps speed up the process.  Sometimes real life prevents us from handling something immediately, but it will be addressed.
