;D ;D ;D ;D  i actually have a pair of york 100's haven't touched them since the 1990's though...they currently anchor a leg curl- leg extension bench in corner.

I have 100lbs. They are on my jubinville calf machine.

I remember that catalog well. Remember his Scorpion machines meant to compete with Nautilus? I still have his stuff. I use his bench that I bought around 1975.  Solid as a rock.

I used to go to Ed Jubinvilles gym and garage weight factory in Holyoke Ma., as well as competing in his odd lift contests.

Great guy who built equipment to last forever.

i'll have you know that lamp is over 60 years old and still works...if it's not broke why fix it.

How old is the end table?

Your furniture might actually be your most valuable pieces.

Instead of painting gold you should powder coat them.

Ive sent 50 lb. dumbbells in large flat rate boxes a few times. (20.00 a bell). Buyer pays shipping, so who cares.
Except for weak mailmen.

Two #40's won't fit in a flat rate, and they'd be over the #70 shipping weight limit. That being said, I've had a decent amount of #25 plate pairs shipped, and it's no problem.

In terms of grip plates, always liked the Pullum type, sadly no good American firms make or import copies -

.

I suppose the Igx models are similar, but just "off" to my eye -

.

ed jubinville the master of muscle control. i've heard that he used to make the equipment sold under the dan lurie name. you can see the similarities.

Ive fit Jackson Globe 40's in lg. flat rate in the past. Angled with one globe raised a bit. Probably depends on the make/model of bell.
