Thanks. I can guarantee you that if you were required to post a recent pic as they require on the Y board then this would be a much more civil board. At least it should be required if you are going to criticize non competing bbers but just ordinary guys that like, and have the discipline, to train regularly. If you look like a dork, which more than likely Jago does, you will be far more likely to keep your mouth shut.

Anonymity makes everyone more likely to be a loudmouth. Too bad they now have this rule where you can't post other people's pics without their permission. Just think of all the loudmouth douchbags that were driven off this board after their pictures were posted (SquadFather, Pumpster...).

Why on earth would I want to do that?

I guess the one thing is that it's not what I take, but what I don't take -- which is excessive calories.

I'm just over 6'1" and weighed 173 lbs that morning.

You're full of shit.

One thing for sure the steroid users would never post a picture off season off the juice.

Really? Tell me, what could you just take that will make veins appear and why, unless you are a bber, would you want to?

I've been wearing the same cut off sweat pants: grey, charcoal and black along with those t-shirts that wick sweat and dry quickly, for the last eight years. Yes, the exact same clothes. Before that I wore the same thing except it just got too worn looking.

Next time you go to the gym try to find anybody wearing sweatpants and/or just a plain t-shirt that doesn't say anything on it.

Good observation. I did not see a single blank tee. However I did see a couple of dudes in "cut off" sweats.

You sure it wasn't sweats that are just cut short? I actually cut off the full-length sweats to make it shorts.

I get the most use out of everything before I toss it.

BTW, those are Ryderwear D-Maks. Love them. They have a really thin flat sole so it feels like I can grip the floor. Not good for guys that are short and want those extra inches.

No these were nike sweatshirts. They're made to look like they were cut in to shorts.

Nice shoes. I recently picked up my first pair of actual weight lifting shoes and prior to owning these I never understood when people said a shoe grips the ground. It's a night and day difference.

No, I pretty much eat as much as I want. I just don't eat a lot. Remember, many here give me a hard time for eating at McDonald's so much. Like today, after the gym, I had a QP deluxe with a hamburger on the side but I just take the patty and add it to the QP and throw the bun away. The QP deluxe only cost a dollar if you order it from your phone. I also had a side of fries, apple pie and a fudge Sundae. People say I have a fast metabolism but they don't see the whole picture. They don't see that I had a bowl of cream of rice, mixed with a cut banana, raisins, peanuts, Olive oil, fiber powder (10 grams) and sprinkled with Stevia. I also chugged about a half of cup of egg whites out of the carton and had a Muscle Milk (25 gram protein version). I figure 35-40 grams protein total. Also, while I'm training I'm sipping a liter of water with 20 grams Whey Hydro, EAA, creatine and BCAA.

And that's it. Only two meals a day around 100 grams of protein.

Low bodyweight to height is not a guarantee of vascularity like that.

It's incredible.

True. I think maybe some people just have their veins closer to the surface than others. No way I've ever been at 3-4% like a peak Cutler has but that guy barely had a visible vein.

Remember the gh15 rule of thumb: six pounds per inch of body weight. So that would mean you'd have to weight around 155lbs. But, of course, that doesn't take into account body composition and skeletal frame.
I have what I call a "boy" frame. Guys like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have that boy frame. You have a "man" frame. You can tell by the size of a person's forearms and hands. Also, calves to some extent. You look at someone like Coach. Much shorter than I am but if he got down to my weight he'd look like he just came out of a concentration camp.

It is true that I am "large boned" having big hands, big feet, big neck, a broad chest and wide shoulders. I would classify myself as a combo ectomorph and mesomorph. I tend to be lean and have a reasonable ability to add muscle. I'm definitely not a endomorph. There was a time when as an adult I weighed about 150 lbs. I was pretty skinny looking.

I rather like the term "man frame". Thanks.  ;)

I would genuinely consider eating an entire cake if I showed that type of vein detail

(That's a compliment).

Actually, I did eat half of a chocolate cream pie after training. Fried fish and rice, a 40gram Muscle Milk shake and then went back into the deli section at Foodland and got a pie. Could only eat half of it. It was already 6 pm and I hadn't eaten since around 9:30 am. And it was only a bowl of Cream of rice with peanut butter and stevia along with a 30 gram protein shake and that was it for the day. So when people see me and what I eat during the day when I'm out and about it seems like I eat a lot. But when you take in account the daily caloric intake it's really not that much.

So I'm finishing up my workout today with abs, which consists of one set of situps on a decline holding a 30lb dumbbell HIT style. Seven reps, three forced reps, two negatives, and about ten crunches/partials/burns at the end.

As I'm sitting there resting this girl says to me, "Ew, look at your arms."

She's referring to veins which most women don't find attractive. I'm reminded of that product "Plasmosis" some years back that showed a before picture of a man's arm with barely a hint of veins and then an after picture where his arm is all veiny. Plasmosis was supposed to promote vascularity through various suspect physiological processes.

But I knew the secret. The "before" picture was actually the "after" picture and vice versa. Meaning the first pic was taken when his arm was in its natural veiny state and then he just raised his arm over his head for about five seconds so the all the blood would flow down and out of his veins. Now he takes the veinless "before" pic.

So I did this. I just held my arm over my head for about five seconds and, voila! No more veins.

I've seen bigger arms and legs on a fly.

...you look like shit!...Hope this helps!

So you eat once at morning and once at night? Do you get hungry at all in between, or feel any bad effect?

No, I don't eat in the morning. I'm never hungry in the morning but use to force myself to eat because it was accepted as Gospel that breakfast was the most important meal in the day.

I stay up late and don't get to sleep until about 2:00 am and get up around 10:00 am. I'll eat maybe at around 1:00-2:00 pm and then again at around 8:00 pm which is by far my largest meal and pretty much eat anything I feel like.

I really don't get hungry at all during the day. If I was going by just pure feeling I'd probably eat just once a day but I don't want to get any skinnier.

Interesting, we actually have a pretty similar sleep and eating schedule, though I take my last meal a bit closer to bed. I'm starting to think this makes my sleep less restful, though.

Nah, I think eating makes sleep easier. Think about it. Do you feel like doing wind sprints after eating? A lot of energy goes to digestion. In the wild, after the lions have their feast they just all go to sleep or loaf around.
