Endomorphs do great on vegan diets.  Ectomorphs need more calories with meat/eggs/dairy or they will be too skinny and sickly.

Excellent post bro... When i look around at my comrads that still eat meat theyre all getting greys and fine lines . What tooth paste do you use????
I feel i spent at least 7 years of vegasim wrong with pasterized fruit juices
Now im making fresh frozen whole fruit smoothies , very high energy from these lately
Beans are still the key also . If im eatin just fruits only my sweat is too sticky my damn legs will chafe... But beans rectify this they get rid of that somehow
Im also less thirsty slammin down lots of fruits, the bodys balance of too much fruit not enough water will make my back go out.... I have to be super disciplined about water drinking even when not thirsty

Haha, I've had a significant number of gray hairs since i turned 20... just runs in my family. My hair got a little better when I first switched to vegan, but I think that's cause I also started eating more at the same time.

I did the all fruit thing at first, then moved on to more grains and protein powders toward the end. Tried a bunch of different things in between. I would eat a whole stack of rice cakes dipped in a banana, protein powder, and soy milk puree each night for a while. Tasted amazing and was easy on the stomach, but I was weak, had bad joints, hair, etc. Was definitely rather sugar-addicted, lolz.

I like colgate's optic white toothpaste. Used aquafresh for years after that. Now I just buy whatever random tube I see first... think I have some Tom's right now.

Meat has nothing to do with it.  It's the sugar, high acid foods and lack of minerals that destroy your teeth.

This^ It is primarily the sugars and acidity of plants that is the problem. However, plants are loaded with minerals so that's not a factor in vegan diets.

I would add that highly acidified super sour candies/gummies (i.e. Sour Patch Kids, Warheads, Lemonheads, etc.) literally melts the enamel from the teeth on contact.  The pH range of these super sour candies is around 2.0 - 2.5.

Marty, I would stay away from the K2, if I were you.  The drawbacks far outweigh the benefits.  I don't think you'll be able to regrow your teeth.   :-\

-Doubt Marty was suggesting smoking synthetic marijuana which is sometimes referred to as K2.

Yep- just the thing parents are shoving in their kids mouths to quiet them down. I'm surprised any kid has any teeth left.

In some parts of the world, including 1st world countries, they don't. "New Crest and Oral-B Great Canadian Smile Survey reveals only 4 per cent of Canadians follow proper oral care regimen, citing fatigue and lack of time as rationale."

Sounds like the ol' Penis Growth cream scam.
Millions of getbiggers dropped major $$ cash , but ended up on the short end.

They got me with the penis growth cream. Cost a mint and it didn't work. Now I'm walking around with this huge hand.

What do they consider proper oral care though?  It could be brushing and flossing 3X a day or something that almost no one does.

-Don't really know the answer to this. I'm going to go out on a limb and parrot the advice from my hygienist. Bush at least twice a day, preferably with an electric tooth brush; floss at least once a day and use soft picks whenever necessary. I have my teeth cleaned twice a year. The dentist examines my teeth once a year or more if there is something suspicious. If I remember correctly, I believe I have digital X-rays every couple of years.

I've bleached my teeth a few times to remove stains from coffee, tea and red wine. This is purely cosmetic and not necessary for proper dental care.

Note: Your hygienist will recommend how often to have your teeth cleaned, based on how much tartar buildup you have on them.

For the most part dentists are scamming you by telling you to see them as often as you do.  I had my wisdom teeth removed 20 years ago and that's the last time I saw a dentist.  I have all of my teeth (except wisdom teeth), no cavities and they are bright white from teeth whitening.

Good solid outline for proper dental care.

However, in my opinion, the other thing that needs bleaching, is a porn stars anus.

Or any woman I'm dating.

A pretty girl with a pristine anus is the gold standard of sex appeal. :-*

I would argue straight white teeth with fresh breath and pretty face.  If the anus isn't bleached I can just turn off the lights. ;D

Like most things genetics play a huge role. Maybe you are just fortunate.

Both my parents were toothless by their 50s, and I'm having to visit a dentist/hygienist every 3 months to stay on top of things in my mid 30s and it's a struggle.

Never smoked, don't eat sugary food and brush, floss and use mouthwash religiously. No cavities, but gums are not being loyal

Just brush daily and use mouthwash which I think is hugely underrated.  The good thing today is if you do need dental work they can screw in false teeth now so they are permanent not slipping all over in your mouth.  In the future maybe stem cells will be used to regrow enamel. ;D

How do you mean that your gums aren't being loyal. If they are shrinking and/or inflamed, you may have periodontitis. If this is the case, you'll want to have it taken care of because it can advance to the point that your otherwise healthy teeth will fall out.

Heard a few horror stories regarding screwed in false teeth so I'd wanna try avoid that if possible.

That's what I'm trying to prevent because I seem to be very susceptible to this, hence the quarterly visits. Although I have a Chinese dentist and I  kinda get the impression she may well be trying to fleece me.. Better be safe than sorry though.

Eating 6 meals a day like a bodybuilder for 15 years can't have done my oral health any favours though, cut that down to 5 now and working on trying to get it to 4. 3 meals is just a dream...
