Curiosity is a powerful thing, but I’ve seen a couple of videos like those linked in this thread, and they’re truly damaging to the human spirit.
It’s not squeamishness, because as I say, I’m quite desensitized to such outrageous gore and violence. I just feel I’ve seen, and continue to see, enough depressing shit, to add yet more. And a type way beyond. The description alone is enough.
I’m pushing 50. Naïveté is no longer a thing for me.
Images as horrific as those seen in these videos stay with a person. They reside in the recesses of our brains. It’s simply not healthy.
Monsters exist in our realm. For real. And their cruelty and sadism knows no bounds.
They are out there.
In my line of work, especially, it’s crucial to actively pursue the gentler side of life. It’s too easy to sink oneself in the real-life horrors.
Just my two cents.
A healthy mind is paramount in a world doing its best to corrode happiness and peace.
