Call a person whatever they ask you to. It's good etiquette and sometimes avoids outbursts such as the one in the video. However, both characters in the video are acting badly.
I partially agree with this, but also disagree with this.
If someone wants me to call them "X," I may or may not do it. If I had a best friend, whom I have known for 30 years, wanted me to call them a specific name, then I would oblige, obviously. On the other hand, I am not obligated to call a random person a particular name, just because they want me to. And, if I don't want to call them that name, they should respect my wishes and move on, without causing an outburst. There is no excuse to act disorderly.
I DO NOT want to be obliged or be expected to do anything, just because people expect me to. If I oblige someone's request, it's based off of my own self-conscious decision, not because I should call a "person whatever they ask you to."
