As for Haney? He wasn't that great. Labrada should have beaten him a couple of times and was just as ripped off as Paris was. Makkawy too. Yes it's true that Paris sucked cocked but Haney's physique just plain sucked. Looked like a drugged up gorilla. But he (Haney) was a Weider Aflete ("No stayroids! Juss goot food and Weider supplements!") and Schmoe Weider even had him win 8 in a pathetically vainglorious effort to "teach Arnold a lesson" in humility. Fuck Weider and fuck Haney. Haney was good but Haney wasn't that good let alone great.
Say it one more time: Fuck Weider and fuck Haney. Like Yates, Coleman and especially heath, Haney didn't deserve all his doorstops (trophies). Bodybuilding can be highly subjective and there's nothing wrong with that so long as it's not subjected to bullshit, favoritism, who bends over in private over who comes out in public, etc. But people are people and that means people can be fucking idiots. Paris was robbed at least once and he's in good company. Padilla, Makkawy, Platz, Labrada and more have all taken the fall and given the perverse habits of some of bodybuilding's "benefactors" perhaps it was because they wouldn't fall to their knees while others would. Not always true but probably not always false either.
