52 and starting to thin, always shaved my head even when young w/ a full thick head of hair, so zero fucks given...
I'm 46 and starting just now to notice thinning.  My dad went bald at around 55 so that's probably me as well.  Will also just shave head.  No spray on hair for me. ;D

Was reading propecia can cause pens fibrosis. Some damaging of the smooth muscle tissue which dht is responsible for maintaining. Then again I am on TRT so maybe I won’t have this side effect?

Considering a hair transplant eventually. But here is the catch. You need to take propecia after a hair treansplant so we are all fucked either way. We want our hair to attract women but whats the point if you can’t fuck them? :D

Where did you get the idea that Propecia has to been taken after having hair grafts?

I've had 4 hair transplants. You don't need to take anything. There's only so much you can have done each time. But fuck taking drugs that fuck with your system your whole life. Do you think something that's blocking your hair loss ISN'T going to have side effects?

The hair is obviously not as thick as when you are 16 but it's fine now. Worth it.

Been taking propecia for 5 years now and I wish I had started taking it earlier.  My hairline is exactly the same as it was as when I started, and it had been receding at a slow but steady pace before using it.  Much easier than taking minoxidil--just pop a pill at night, no messy, smelly lotions.

Sex drive went down maybe 10-20%, but that might have been from getting older, hard to tell.  In any case, it's somewhat of a relief to not think about sex all the time.

Other things I've noticed: it seems to slow the formation of fine lines in the face.  I've heard other users talk about this as well, maybe something to do with DHT and collagen.

Take a look at information regarding derma rolling the scalp.  Use this in conjunction with 5% minoxidil.  Also, you can use the 5% solution at the front of the hairline were there is receding.

Hair transplant will cover balding spots. Eventually hair will keep falling off where there's not hair grafted, propecia can prevent that hair from falling off.

The minoxidil can age the skin though, apparently due to it reducing collagen, and can give dark rings or a puffy look under the eyes.

Gray or white hair makes you look old.

You look younger with a shaved head than with gray or white hair.

Toupees look bad/fake always.

I will have to disagree..... Willis would look a lot better with gray hair than bald ,  for example ; there's no way   Michael Douglas, G. Clooney or  Richard Gere would look better bald than with gray hair ..... no way

As for toupee,  Stallone and Travolta look a lot younger and decent " with toupee on   though Travolta looks even better than Bruce Willis bald .

Again,
try the laser hat .... I see  not many people here are aware of it , but I was told even  Jay cutler himself  is keeping the hair he has on now that he's back on the heavy sauce thanks to  the laser hat , half an hour every other day  and hair will stay on your head

I can tell you what I've done to combat hair loss if anyone is interested.  Mid 30’s started thinning and caught it quickly.  Got on propecia immediately and still take it nightly for 15 yrs.  Noticed some thinning toward the back about 1.5 yrs ago and use Rogain 2X a day, as well.  Have been happy with both as I haven’t lost anymore (that’s been noticeable) and have had no side affects from either.  Still get multiple hard-ons daily (thank you Random Pics & IG).  But the winner has been a new procedure called PRP or you can do PRP w/ stem cells.  They take your blood, put it in a machine that removes platelets or something and then they add the stem cells if you purchased that package (which I did).  After about 40 or so needle injections into my scalp and 90 days later, I have much fuller and thicker hair with zero scalp showing.  Cost me @ 5 grand here in Maryland and I couldn’t be happier.  Many people mention it without knowing what I did.  Check it out - it works.

You never look young bald no matter what, grey hair or not, having a full head of hair is the fountain of youth especially if you are late 40’s, 50’s, and beyond

Some lucky, some are not

But stop kidding yourself bald looks younger even with greys

Willis never looked good this way. I don’t understand why they always put him as an example of a good looking bald guy. The Rock or Statham are better examples. You have to be jacked to some extent though. No skinny guy with a bald head looks good.

The doc in my gf clinic sells these.  Not cheap.  $1800-$2500.  But he advocates only once every 6th day for half hour.  Doing it everyday will do more harm than good.

The minoxidil can age the skin though, apparently due to it reducing collagen, and can give dark rings or a puffy look under the eyes.

This is true.  A surgical tech here used the Rogaine from the OTC at Walgreens.  And in two weeks, he was starting to develop a raccoon look.  It's a side effect that only occurs in a select few, but he happened to be one of them.  As soon as he quit using it, it went away.
