Wheeler Ironman 93 beats all versions of Ronnie, Heath and Jay easily, and nearly every version of Yates outside of his 93 shape. Levrone 92 NOC could;d also have given big Ron everything he could handle, both guys never got anywhere near that shape again. Bigger but not better.

  I see Heath as a smaller and shittier version of Dillet in the mid 90s. at least Dillet had great and not just good quads and a V-taper at 270 lbs. that is far more impressive IMO

Dorian mops the floor with him in every single pose sans most muscular and front double biceps. Phil is lighter than Dorian and doesn't even come close in terms of density & dryness which means he's carrying more fat & water so therefore no even close in terms of real size.

x2 this is the central question.  Someone else said it best early on in this thread: Phil is the best of a very mediocre generation in the IFBB.

Who should have won and why?  

I'm not saying I think Phil should have won all of these, I just think it makes for interesting debate.  Rhoden is probably the most "complete" of this group with the fewest flaws.

Bonac looked incredible in 2017.  He was like a little mini-Ronnie and should have totally won (if you are ok with Mr. O being 5'4").

i don't think you've ever actually seen him, his abs aren't even that good but they are better than ronnie's

his quads are anything but a weakness, better than yates

his only weakness is his width but that's better than having those twigs for arms yates had, his back is more detailed than both ronnie and dorian's

from the side his chest is fantastic, not so good from the front





phil has no weak pose while ronnie is weak in side triceps and abs/thighs, dorian is weak in most muscular and front double bi after 93
