I thought it was a great speech.  He cut down on a good amount of the hyperbole he gets shit for. (rightfully so)  I literally LOL'd when he said "hold on....because you're really gonna love this", and "thank you, you weren't supposed to do that...." when talking about female jobs and the liberal left women applauded.....he knew they had no choice  Brilliantly done.

More than anything I really want to know what Straw Man and others on the left think not only about Abrams' rebuttal, but the choice of her as the voice for the Dems?

You literally have to be full of hate to disagree with anything he said.  He was rational, encouraging, candid, funny, and to the point.  The last time I can remember the entire audience end up chanting USA in unison multiple times was after 9/11.  

I'm sure libs will find a clip, but I have also never seen everyone bust out singing happy birthday to Jewish person during a SOTU speech either.  As divisive as he supposedly is, that was the most unifying speech I can remember a POTUS giving, sans an attack or war.

Seems to me like the Dems had some bad form last night.

Not clapping for the low unemployment for minorities, the ICE agent etc.

I was in the air so missed the speech, but I read the transcript.  Then read the predictable headlines and stories.  I don't know how it was delivered, but the text of the speech was great.

I watched on CBS, and when the news lady was explaining that before Trump came in I just thought "what a stupid choice when the main story right now is about a Governor in your party either in blackface or a KKK outfit"  If it wasn't for the fact that Pelosi was leading them, it would be shocking.

Did anyone else catch that there seemed to be some hand and facial gestures by Pelosi that correlated to when the Dems would stand and sit....specifically the women in white?

Trump totally had them confused.  He would say something that they had to cheer and then immediately pivot to something they were against and they would sit down.  Example: More women than ever in Congress followed by aborting live babies in NY and Virginia. They looked like a jack in the box while staring at Pelosi to give them the sign to stand and cheer or not.  Totally mind numbed robots.  When Trump said America would never be a socialist country Crazy Bernie looked really butt hurt and angry.

Trump showed why he is so successful in business, real estate and politics.  These dipshits in government who think they are so smart couldn't outsmart Trump on their best day.  The meltdowns from the left all day long have been a joy to watch.
