Its a lot more going on that "size". This is a blatant slap in the face for anyone that pays attention and knows what contest shape means. Who was the judge, Wayne "Let me help you with your posing" DeMilla? And you know what the problem is, the higher ups, the people in the bodybuilding industry refuse to say anything because they know where their bread is buttered at. Integrity is a thing of the past.

Bodybuilding contests are such a niche event that no one watches them anymore. The real attention is on Instagram and social media in general. Fat doughboys have no followings - lean and non-freak bodybuilders have all the fans.

Why is it then that I only know the names of the open bodybuilders? Am I in an old school niche where I am out of it and all the younger fans know the names of all the Board short guys and Bikini girls, but don’t know the names of the bodybuilders? I have’t gone to expos in a while. Who has the longest fan lines at the expos? Which categories actually have the highest celebrity counts? I have a feeling it is still the largest, freakiest bodybuilders.

Yes. And sometimes I wonder if part of the reason why these guys get big guts is because they simply do not spend anytime training their abdominals. I mean, out of all the bodybuilding videos I have ever watched, I think I have only seen one guy do an abdominal workout. If they would spend an hour a week working on abs and doing the vacuum, and focused on keeping their abs tight throughout the day, I think many of these guys would be able to bring that waist in much tighter than they currently have it. Maybe some of them would need to go as far as walking around with the vacuum pose 24/7, but it would be worth it. After a few months I am sure that waist would be much tighter.

it was atrocious! I could not believe my eyes when the kid was dropped down the order and bloated Kuclo promoted up.

you could argue that Kuclo has more muscle which he probably has. And like Kyomu once said "bodybuilding is the muscle!"

But I agree that the other guy has the best proportions. Proportions should be a criteria.

Bodybuilding is a subculture of sport whose fans cheer oiled up guys posing in thongs to music. Yes, the bloated guys should have never beaten someone who out classes him in density.

Yes, and all the judges are from the US so a US guy would automatically have the edge over a Brazilian.

exactly

steve is an all american fire fighter, his wife is an IFBB pro, he has tons of supplement deals, steve is on social media, promotos the sport (seems like a good guy) but he is just more popular than the brazilian and that is that.

we have seen the popularity contest come into play all the time.

If Kulco actually dieted down to how ripped the other guy is would he even be bigger than him? In some shots they look the same size just Kulco is holding 20 pounds of water.
