looking at that video and keeping in mind other videos about his training
it looks as though for his legs he had vicious heavy duty work ethic AND rather correct or full range stable motion
whereas for upper body it looks like he tries to emulate similar intensity but he's faking/swinging everything
knowing he was and still is a master at leg training, i wonder if his "inferior" upper body is the result of his sloppy training or whether the 'sloppy training meme' is a result of him masking inferior upper body characteristics.
