I will tell you what I think prompted the decision based on 30 years of this crap. He is a high profile client. He has high profile lawyers. The prosecutor who is likely hoping  for an appointment down the road, figured there was nothing to gain from prosecuting this case and decided in their own best interest to drop all charges even thought it was clear he was guilty.  

This is a outrageous decision for many reasons
Not least of all the facts that were presented about what he had planned & payed others to do.
It doesn’t set a good president for future similar cases.

It stinks of Some intervention/ corruption - That in itself is or should be a worry to decent people
As it was so Blatantly Done.

It says Black rich queer tv celebrities and get away with more than tha average person
Would the same Thing of Happened had He Been a Straight Black Man with an average job
& without any previous criminal record ? Somehow I doubt it.

I looked at his twitter last night to see if he had said anything....nothing.  However, when it comes to the controversial stuff and wanting to know what Trump is thinking; one just needs to go to Jr.'s account.  He retwittered a couple of things, and a good number of comments I saw were directed at DOJ and FBI.

You left out the the most important quality of JS....political connections.  Through poking around last night, and following tweets I ended up on a tweet where Donna Brazile had tweeted Jussie saying she had donated $1000 to some cause of his.  So that means he's for sure connected to both Obama's, Michelle's aid Cheng, Kamala Harris, Jesse Jackson, and  Donna  I think it's very clear why this happened out of the blue....

Speaking of blue.....did you guys read that this took place as the CPD was finishing up the graduation ceremony for their new officers?  The relationship between Foxx and the CPD has been insanely contentious  for a long time from what I've read, and judging by other things I've read she is on her way out soon as the mayoral election is apparently coming up there.  Seems like she got promised a better gig when she loses hers (along with some cash likely...see James Woods' tweet )......this is the ultimate fuck you to the people she has been fighting with (CPD)

I'm hoping CPD has some strong connections to the FBI and US Postal Inspectors, and they share the same level of pissed offness that leads to Smollett being woken up surrounded by FBI live on Fox at 530 a.m. ala Roger Stone.  Then we'll know Trump had something to do with it, and that he actually has some stroke in "his" FBI.
