Coach what do you think is the reason for your loose skin , age, genetics or the amount of weight gained in the off season ?

Do you still train pretty heavy these days? Bench presses? Deadlifts?

Coach is closing in on 60. The skin is an age thing for sure, well know issue with aging folks in general (not just BB's).
Most here never looked as good as Joe when they were 30, never mind when they get near 60.

I have never been as lean as Joe. Could I get that lean without PEDs? I know size is a PED thing...but can E/C/A alone get a person they lean?

While my skin may be good at 50... I'm not so sure at 60. Age will eventually get us all.

Fixed.
E/C/A/DNP.
That's the solution right there. Might not fix loose skin--but you'll lean out for sure.
Or die.
 One or the other--I dunno

Dont fukk w/ DNP, E.C.A. is a proven stack that has been working since the early 90's.
Matt, you are pretty lean already, no need for stims as far as I can see.
If not competing in BB, no one needs to be skeleton lean anyways.

DNP's danger is over rated. It really is.

The one thing that I’m self-conscious about as I aged. Only noticeable when I diet down but it bothers me. Old age = less collagen. For the record, No DNP....ever

Congrats on your victory, and doing so well in the open.  I've never been interested in doing a show and getting that lean, but it certainly is admirable that you were able to do it and do so well at your age.  Well done sir!

Enjoyed the vid, and thought it was solid advice.  Have to say though, youtubers doing vids while driving drives me insane.  Someone is going to get hurt or killed by someone trying to get clicks on YT....like DNP, it's just not worth it.  Please be safe.

Again, job well done with your prep!

Strangely enough,I never had a problem with sagging skin.

I believe it`s probably due to the fact that I never went over 15 pounds or so over my contest bodyweight.

Here`s me at 57 years old.....I`m 63 right now and still no sagging.

I train as heavy as I can. When I deadlift now I don't pull from the floor, I'll do rack pulls instead. I haven't straight bar benched in probably close to a year but rather I'll do heavy DB presses. For the last few months, I've been dealing with a SLAP tear and training around that. When I first did it I had a hard time just with 25-30lbs DB's but as I kept finding ways to train without atrophy I started gradually getting my strength back with limited ROM, the last two weeks before the show I was back up to the 110's.

And that's the key right there along with consistency. When I started back training hard and consistent in Feb 2017 I was 236 and training was inconsistent, working 12-14hrs 6-7 days. Not only was I heavy (but never went over 16%)

56 here (no saggy loose skin)..was wondering how to avoid it? (I have been 312 lbs before so it’s not caused by “ bulking up”)  is it Genetic?  .. Cardio/ diet related??.. what is the cause and how to avoid it and or fix it if you have it? ..

Oddly enough Joe,when I crept up to my heaviest bodyweight ever,I found that I really hadn`t put on much actual muscle tissue despite training like a complete freak with very short rest periods, heavy weight, and lots of intensity techniques.

I just looked like a semi-bloated dude who was half assed into lifting instead of a competitive bodybuilder.

I didn`t like the look, and I felt like pure shit most of the time and I was not actually all that heavy.

I have a tiny bone structure and was cursed/blessed with a pretty fast metabolism......classic ectomorph in a huge way.

Looking fucking great Mike!!

Props brother.

I have no tips other that to say, don`t let yourself hit 300 pounds or more ever again!  LOL  :)

When you first got lean,I was so happy for you as you looked far far better and I felt that you probably felt much better physically as well as mentally.
