Well,I wasn`t gonna discuss it on here right away,but the doc says I may have lung cancer.

Asked me to go for a test which I refused to do.

With my anxiety issues if I knew I had it,I`d more than likely hang myself in my barn.,

Really depressed right now..............picked the wrong time of the month to stop sniffing glue LOL 

Anyway,this is the first time in eons whereI truly feel like buying a few cases of Bud and a quauart of Tequila.

But I`ll ride it out like a man...........if I do have it,I lived an interesting life if nothing else.

Stay strong (and maybe when you've had chance to reflect/think on it a bit, please reconsider taking the test again - modern endoscopes are much smaller gauge nowadays than they were in the past)

Treatable if you catch and treat early but lung and colon are at the top of the list as worst my prayers are with you for what its worth.

I quit on myself all of my life until I found bodybuilding..........I don`t quit anymore..........just shocked and depressed and very uncertain of my future.

Sorry to hear this Wes but don't lose hope. There are lots of really good treatments available now, things have moved on so much medically. Praying that you don't have it mate but if you do you will get through it.

Really sad and sorry to read this mate please go and get the test finding early can mean years of life mate, my mates mother was diagnosed with lung cancer and given 5 years but it’s now gone ten years with no progression of her illness. By contrast my dad put off and hid his symptoms for years and lived only 5 weeks from he finally got diagnosis. Really hope the best for you mate and hopefully get sorted

Hi getbig. My name is Barry and I have been friends with Tim (Wes on here) for around 45 years. We are both old veterans of the iron and have seen our fair share of issues in life. I made this account so I could address this EFS guy who Tim gets mad about. I read all of the posts from ESF to Wes and really believe the guy is full of shit. Tim has lived a hard life and from what I read all that other guy has lived is a world or lies. Tim just isnt the kind of guy to back down from anyone, he's the toughest son of a bitch Ive ever known.

Tim isn't wealthy, and neither am I. I threw it to Tim that we should fly down to where this ESF lives and have a face to face with him. Tim loved the idea cause we are both old and may as well, only one life to live.I will pay my own way and all accomodations but Tim needs some financial help with his end. I was hoping  his friends on here might want to throw a few bucks into a pool and get him a plane ticket to California. We would go for sure, it would be a hell of a time and a great story for here.

Tim (Wes) will let you know here that I am who I say I am and we will go for it if this trip happens. Lets have some fun Tim

Wes, I like you but this is the worst idea ever. I've often suspected that a board feud would spill over into the real world someday and someone would end up doing time over it. I'd hate for it to be you.

You're documenting your intention to go confront a guy that you have bad blood with. This is un-smart, my friend.

And if you're just boiling and don't care, take a minute and look around. We've got anything we want to eat, drink, or do. Open sky above, wonderful world all around. There are beautiful women to see, and some you even get to fuck. Compare that to being in jail. We're living in paradise. All you have to do is not fuck it up.

You've offered Wes very sound advice. Even if a confrontation didn't result in more than a couple of punches or bitch slaps, it is not worth it. ESF is not worth it. As you pointed out, there are so many joys in life. It is best to focus on these positive things and let negative thoughts go.
