My wife and I have a policy that we don’t lie. Really to each other, but other folks in general. I can’t remember the last time I lied. Life is tough enough as it is, don’t put undo stress on yourself by carrying the weight of the lie and the stress of keeping up with them. I think the world would be a much better place without the ability to lie. But, such is free will.
woman: do i look fat in this?man (who can no longer lie): yeshow is that goign to make the world a better place
You're using one instance to judge an entire idea....Really smart. Lying is better than than the truth, got it. Thanks satan...I mean uh' ratherbebig.
Getbig would shut down tomorrow
You stole my post.
Pellius will kill himself, thats for sure
I think interpersonal relationships would benefit greatly, it would be interesting to witness.
The AI singularity will usher in more truth than anyone is ready for.
in due course, all 'human' activity will be mandated to the blockchain for judgment.
I guess it depends on whether you believe people are mostly inherently good or mostly inherently bad. I think the ability to lie, deceive, withhold (which isn't exclusive to humans) is a big part of community building.
