They were trolling his wife pretty hard last week, saying that she (the daughter) ran back / eloped to Florida with a deadbeat boyfriend. His wife then wrote an upset post yelling at the trolls and people asking questions or scolding them for prepping for the Olympia with a missing daughter. Fast forward a little, that post is deleted, and she and Juan put up these posts -

Reading them, I guess maybe they have an idea that she willing ran away, rather than got kidnapped, etc...., so they are going on with their lives.
I've seen similar things before, it's sort of shocking, but it happens.
When you refer to similar things did they occur with the same generation as Juan's daughter?
Children of the social media era seem to have a hard time disappearing, only because they HAVE to share everything. She may have run off and gotten married. But the fact that she hasnt created a new IG or FB account makes me question if she really ran away.
A 17 year old from today's era doesnt know how to be silent. She, likely, grew up documenting every "adventure", sharing every experience, that isnt something you stop doing cold turkey.
Obviously I could be wrong but if she was routinely active on social media prior to her disappearance it would be difficult for her to not to start up again.
