I thought the same thing regarding the bar not touching his chest but if you look at the whole workout, you'll notice the different hand positions and the angle work that was being done.  This tells me that the half assed smith presses were actually by design.  I'm certain he is in long distance communication with the great, homeless wizard Charlie Glass.  But, you are very wise to wait to hear from Coach.  I too will temper my enthusiasm until Coach can shed some light on this situation.

That’s not the way it works in the real world and no business is going to risk their livelihood for the sake of “innocent until proven guilty.” Any business is bigger than one individual.

I wouldn't either where convicted, whilst charged different story. Where you did in a normal business you would be leaving yourself open too unfair dismissal laws and compensation especially where the employee is found innocent in the future, all they would need would be a good HR workplace lawyer and before you know it your own legal advice would be settle this claim before it gets to court. No doubt AMI would have a position on this before they stood him down.
