But the purpose is for longevity and overall health at your height and age, isn’t that what bbing is about as well?

5’6 single digit bf levels at 170’s or 180’s is still bigger than the general population, take a look at Tito and Stan mcquay, both 5’6

I think you are just stubborn

There’s a few guys I work out with who are 5’11/6 ft and they look phenomenal at 185/190 single digit bf levels

As I said, there will be a time when I will come down and it will probably next year after the Nationals if I don't win either my class or the overall but for now that's my 100% focus. I see and talk to Tito all the time, for his age (he just turned 50) is in phenomenal shape, lean and muscular, but just like his brother, I chose to go Jose's route, why? Because to me that's what bodybuilding is.

My feeling is after the death of Dallas McCarver, that was a HUGE wake up call for the industry whether his death was from drugs or an underlying predisposed genetic problem that drugs just made worse, it was a wake up call. Most bodybuilders nowadays stay relatively lean in the off-season, watch their diets (even though it's a lot of food and I've posted my diet on here), cycles, for the most part are less than what most think because they know more is not always better and off-cycles are OFF-CYCLES for most unless they're competing all the time. I'm not saying competing in bodybuilding is the healiest, I'm saying it's being done with more caution that ever before, in my opinion.

I understand, good response

Don’t want to see any potential health issues happen to you but know you take care of your body

Most of the homes where I live do not have air conditioning because we are literally on the beach

Why?  It never gets hot and humid on that particular beach?  Is it an Amish community?
