I stood next to him when he was approaching the stage to guest pose at a contest I went to watch. Yes, he is short. But man- the most complete physical build I have ever seen. Nothing stood out - he was so balanced it was unbelievable. And he is a funny guy too. Put on a great show.

And glad you enjoyed it.  Apologies - I could have been clearer - it's not the content that I didn't like, it's Rick's 1990's camera and video editing 'effects' LOL.  I mean - it looks like it was filmed on a flip phone so on a big HD monitor like I use it's almost like watching a VHS bootleg - the lack of definition almost gave me a head ache - that was my angle

I think this is a very valid viewpoint.  The only other really short guys with (close to) immaculate symmetry in his 5ft category that I can remember (IMHO) were Thierry Pastel and Momo Benaziza.  Apologies to Lee Priest, but his limbs are too short and torso too long

Platz had a great upper body.  The only reason people focused on his legs is because no one had ever developed legs like his before and we was penalized for it.
