Good to see Tom healthy and leave everything behind unlike some guys making comebacks and such

How’s Melvin Anthony doing? Heard he’s out now, going to make a comeback too?

Either look 60 or have countless back surgeries and still do vertical leg presses with bad form?

Calling out chad Nichols big time there.  Also, dialysis isn’t a permanent thing.  You can’t just get your treatments and live a normal life, dudes life is on a timer most people only last 4 years max

X2

Good to know Shawn has common sense that a lot of these “health issues” are def related to all the stuff these guys are putting in their body

Funny how Tom says he will not approve of his kids doing competitive bbing whatsoever

11:30 c'mon bro... Shawn likes to be "controversial", ask him about drug use, not the "peds", the ones that went IV. Get him to tell the truth.

Enjoyed watching, but he did know something was wrong back when he started having problems. He posted the whole thing on chads board and even went back on gear and competed anyway.

You think? And imagine, he's only 50.  Unlike some other poor schmucks, he's still alive. Pretty much everyone has their physical heyday. Some people, like Tom, move on. Many others such as Derek Anthony, don't and they end up dead. I say kudos to Tom for being wise enough to know when to get out of the game.

So Chad Nicholls is a Murder, and DIE-urect use before shows caused the kidney issues and the deaths.

Nice work Sherlock "Ray" Holmes!

Why didn't Tom mention that he took 20+ ibuprophen-advils a day everyday for many years.

I am still watching this interview. Tom said the he's in dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours a session. This is a big fucking deal! I know from my wife's time doing dialysis. Four hours means more like 6 hours when you add the travel and the time it takes to get hooked up and at the conclusion unhooked from the machine. It burns an entire day. Besides, dialysis wipes a person out. They are pretty much done for that day. Tom is a lot younger than my wife was when she was in dialysis, so he probably has more fortitude and stamina to continue on. My wife was completely done with it after only a few months and decided this was not the way she wanted to spend the rest of her life. I think Tom is a trooper. Should he ever decide to end dialysis, his kidney will shut down. then his other organs will and he will be dead withing a week or two. Sad....very, very sad. Fortunately, it is not a painful way to die, according to my wife's nephrologist.

That’s terrible, he’s only 51 years old, been on since his early/mid 30’s
