Wait, what? He got 16 years for a crime he hasn't committed, but may or may not commit eventually in the future? WTF?
Absolutely!!! If you present a clear and present danger that you will continue to commit crimes once you get out of prison, then they are going to keep you in there as long as humanly possible...that's why we have a parole board.
Adolfo earned that 16 years when he could have easily gotten probation. I'm sure that if he gets an attorney and he appeals stating he has a mental issue or is going to get counseling, it will likely be reduced....but dude, when you're in court you let your attorney do the talking and you shut the fuck up
