Author Topic: Our president will start a war with Iran (Read 21944 times)

I've heard this, but disagree.

Nobody cares about the impeachment. Most saw it for what it was.

A couple points post inquiry that have hurt the Democrats:

The obstruction charge for prevention of witnesses. The President CAN do this, but the law says it must go to the courts to settle it. The Democrats refused to go through the process, citing urgency. Now, after that claim and obstruction charge.....they've sat on the articles because they claim the want........

....witnesses. After the Democrats refused all of the Republicans' request during the inquiry.

Pure horseshit....they couldn't prove QpQ and Bribery, then overplayed their hand.

I think this move was what it was - an answer of force with force.

I think it can go either way. A strong political strategist sees a war with Iran as having benefits to both extremes. It completely distracts the American people from the bullshit impeachment process (regardless of its reach, the impeachment process can derail potential voters for Trump that are not properly informed regarding what it truly means, America is composed of an overwhelming amount of noneducated knuckle dragging behemoths), as it instead pulls their attention towards the fact that there is incoming war and secondly, given that Iran can't hold a candle to our military prowess, it's fair to say that not only will we be victorious, but that Trump will in turn seem like a true American hero given that he was able to annihilate (if it goes that far) a breeding ground for Islamic extremists/terrorists. Going into the 2020 election as the man that single-handedly wiped out the hive of terrorists is a great campaign slogan.
