He wasn't acquitted. He was never tried. The accuser backed out and wouldn't testify. She got a couple bucks in a settlement.

QFT..
Rumor was he paid over $10 million..

TMZ UPDATE:

2:40 PM PT -- Officials say they believe 9 people were on board -- 1 pilot and 8 passengers -- and there were no survivors. Still unclear why the chopper crashed but an investigation is under way.

Actually it was the lack of a functioning propeller to create lift that supports the weight of the helicopter while providing thrust to move it forward.  Gravity doesn't exist.

No, acquitted does not mean found guilty.

Kobe was required to make that statement.  "I now understand how she feels she did not consent to this encounter."  This is the problem with modern day rape charges.  Rape is rape.  Rape is not having consensual sex, enjoying it, going and having sex with another guy the same day, going to a party at night and bragging about how you had sex with Kobe and then a day or so later deciding it wasn't consensual.

Interesting we all have an idea of what happened that night.

You forgot to mention the girl went and had a rape kit/test done at the hospital that night so it wasnt exactly a day later.

If gravity doesn’t exist then you should not be using the word ‘weight’ in your explanation

Because anything that weighs more than air falls.

Remember coach is an expert on everything including being a self absorbed narcissistic asshole who is an expert on everything notice how he had to somehow insert himself in this topic

I doubt this self righteous dwarf who constantly craves attention and talks about how much money he makes off his shitty diet and training programs ever came in contact once with Kobe Bryant

It's like seeing a part of your childhood die. I grew up in a basketball family and grew to actually like him while when I was younger I had to hate him because my brother loved him, lol.
Many experience it as you get older (actors dying, etc.). It's just that it happened so soon/in such a manner that is so shocking and the idea of the kids dying along with them.

Imagine potentially knowing that you can do nothing to help them and you are going to both probably die.
