From the sounds of it the doctors planted the seeds of this heart attack occurring.

It’s sad because if he would have humored the doctors and stayed an extra day for testing he may still be alive.

its the steroids causing the HDL cholesterol to be ultra low for years and years that they are using steroids and probabaly leads to the heart arteries getting clogged

It was a stroke caused by infection. Blood pressure was always really high. Heading to London on the weekend. Any other Getbiggers going?

Bay - why was Don Youngblood your favourite bodybuilder? He was one of my favourites as well. In part because he was my height [5'9"], and in part because he placed 2nd at the Master's Mr. Olympia at age 47, and won the whole show at age 48, in 2002, before passing away of a massive heart attack in May of 2005.

As a Gay Black Male who lives in the Bay area, I can see why BayGBM liked Don Youngblood so much.

I didn't realize anyone on here was as much a fan of Don Youngblood as I was. Although not my "favourite" bodybuilder - he was very good.

Don Youngblood, like Scott Milne, also died too young, of a competitive bodybuilding-induced heart attack.
