The most honest answer I can figure is that we know nothing, so I'm only slightly nervous. What will happen, will happen. I bought some extra otc flu medicines across a few different classes. I also added to my stock of canned goods, protein powders, etc.... but that's about it.
The chance to add any respirators, etc... has sailed. Even the more expensive full face industrial models and their filters are sold out.
If you have any pre-existing conditions, I'd probably see if I could get my hands on a few extra months of whatever medicines you need now. This thing has really exposed how dependent we are on China for medical goods of all classes. Everyone from the richest 1st world drug companies to 3rd world producers needs China for something.
The economy will tank some, but we've had a great run the last few years, so I'm hoping it will balance out.
I was somewhat happy when I saw that Europe was keeping a lid on it. But now, with the rather large clusters in Italy, and reports that it is spending across Europe, my hopes are a bit dashed. I also don't believe in the

the US is putting on it. That's all about keeping the economy somewhat stable.
I do think the spin that warmer temperatures will kill it off has merit. Hong Kong, Singapore, etc... have slowed down their infection rate, but realistically most of the US won't see sustainable warmer temperatures (70f +) till late May or so, so we've still got a long way to go.

Anyway, those were just some random thoughts on this. For real Coronavirus news I like -
