Every country in the world is affected as is every person on earth. If this virus destroys the economy, and it might, everyone participated. There is likely no way anything could be done to change that, unless you possibly have a solution you'd like to share.

I'm starting to think this Coronavirus hysteria is a way to bring in socialism to the U.S.  After every adult starts getting checks for not working it's going to be easy to implement a Universal Basic Income later.

Doesn't anyone realize that if the virus is THAT deadly, it will always continue to spread once everything is "back to normal" no matter how long we are all "social distancing"?

In two weeks they will just extend it another two weeks again and again.  Bankruptcies are going to soar and businesses are going to be told they can't turn off services for those who can't pay.  I heard in California they are banning evictions for people who can't pay the landlord for the next 90 days.  They will drag this out as long as they can and then next winter we start all over again with another outbreak just like the flu.

Have this sneaking suspcion that they're not bring in mlitary lockdowns and crashing the global economic system , ensuring the ruin of countless working people and their families , just because a few thousand old fucks in their 80's or 90's are kicking the bucket.

COVID-19 has been here since Nov-December. The curve is what it is, increased testing is just showing us the scope of it all now.

Not 60 and older with comorbidities are at the highest risk.....stay home. Isolate them.

Everyone else....take precautions.

If we never heard of COVID-19 and the Chinese were successful in covering it all up.....this would be counted as a really bad flu season. The world is 2 months behind because of the Chinese, it is what it is now.

Also, out of the new cases....how many of those infected required hospitalization?
